Under the German health care system, all Germans also are entitled to several FREE health-spa vacations replete with spa treatments courtesy of their fellow German taxpayers. This comes under the category of extreme stress or exhaustion due to work-related causes. Needless to say, there are plenty of Germans who take full advantage of this at the earliest opportunity.

I remember seeing a special years ago on dancers being selected for a well known ballet. One of the dancers was a little busty, and she was turned down. She talked about being turned down many times because of her figure, and was giving up ballet. Sure enough, at her last audition where they were discussing each prospective dancer, she was thought to be the best dancer there but they voted against her because her breasts were too large. They made no pretense about it.

Yes, a ballerina's shape is "diminuitive" to say the least, but that doesn't mean it's going to stay that way. She just blames it on ballet, not on the fact that she was behind the door when the boobies were passed out.

LOL!

"Most dancers or those who are very active do have very small breasts, not an ounce of fat in their systems."

Saying that ballet dancing stunts breast development (since most ballet dancers are petite) is like saying that playing basketball makes you grow (since the average NBA player is 6'7"). A very well endowed I knew in highschool told me she used to dance ballet but had to quit when she began "developing" because the ballet was hurting her back. Ballet doesn't cause women to have small breasts; women with large breasts don't dance ballet because it's too tough on their bodies. That German singer's story is as believable as Michael Jackson's theory of why his skin turned white in the 1990s.

"I had done ballet for several years and that's why I had small breasts."

Doing ballet caused her to have small breasts?

Did I miss some scientific breakthrough?

It's not the ballet, per se. It's the fact they starve themselves to keep any fat off their bodies. It happens to gynmasts, too, who have these little girl voices and no figure well past the normal time to grow up. And the effects of that starvation lead to a lot of other problems connected with arrested puberty.

Most of those ballet dancers who dropped out because their busts developed weren't prepared to starve themselves to maintain the preferred body type. Good for them, and bad for the poor girls who ruined their lives for a transient dream.

None of which justifies making others pay for cosmetic surgery.

Low percentage of body fat from the exercise. No fat, no boobs.

If that is an "after" picture, me thinks she went to "The Emperor's new clothes" breast clinic.

See post 26.

Ballet dancers have small breasts because the girls with big breasts have to quit. Now diet will have a slight effect on the size, but not enough to use it as an excuse for small breasts.

Go back and refer to a couple of medical websites. Young women who are athletic, such as those in gymnastics and dance, and who maintain very low body fat percentage, often have minimal breast development and delayed menarch.
