Oh the Loserdopians will decry the American taxpayer money used to do this! Mind you, if it were any other Nation but Israel, it wouldnt be a big deal...but here we are again helping the evil J-E-W-S.

This is to help keep Israel at home. It helps them defend their own country, possibly detect missile launches toward Israel, monitor any flights toward Israel.
We did the same in '91. They get some of our sat inel on a regular basis anyway. This is just their private window on our battle.
