Ann Coulter will be on the best seller list yet again, while Salon is going out of business. Nothing further need be said.

These are the kind of insights and honesty that have made Salon the success that it is.

"Arguing with them is like paying attention to disobedient children. They should be treated like spoiled brats who mouth off. Put them over the knee, paddle their fannies, tell them to wipe that smirk off their face and to speak up only when they've learned something about the world."
Gosh, I feel the same way about arguing with lefties!

There is not a shred of issue-based logic in this monumental screech.

SLANDER was one of the BEST non-fiction books I've ever read....I'd lay in bed at night laughing at Ann's witticisms, and incredulous at her reporting. The Left is LOSING....and I am so glad I'm old enough to enjoy it, but not so old that I don't understand it!

Boy, he sure wastes a lot of words to say, "I think Ann Coulter is sexy. I wonder if she'll go out with me?"

And this does nothing more than prove the point Coulter was trying to make in
Slander.
Too bad he'll never see that, though.

I couldn't read the whole diatribe the first time, and still can't. Does this make me narrow minded?

Unless you are The Reverend David Koresh and/or his wife and children and/or his family and friends and/or his students and parishioners and/or are Mr Randy Weaver's wife Vicki and their little boy, Sammy -- and/or many many others -- in which case "the government" already did "burn your home [And/or] kill your children."

This article is bizarre. The entire thing things seems to be based upon a straw-man argument. To wit:
Coulter says that liberals have been "wrong about everything for the last half-century." The southern democrats who voted against the Civil Rights Act were not "liberals." Therefore, Coulter shouldn't be representative of modern conservatism because she's a knuckle-dragging troglodyte.
Absolutely astounding, isn't it, to consider that this writer doesn't understand that first thing about writing. He seems to make a point of being a pedantic and obtuse to the point of being ridiculous.
To: John Lenin
I read Slander and was totally entertained for the day it took to read. It is also nice that the liberals writing crap about Coulter state no opposing footnotes, while Coulter's book is full of irrifutable ones... ahhhh, life.

I've encountered their type before. They are the essence of the white, privileged kids ...Blah blah blah. When you have nothing to say, stereotype. It's the liberal way.

Whee! Sounds like Ann's book scored a direct hit amidships and bewteen the boilers that went clear down to the magazine!
