What really bugs me about the liberals is that when we rally, they do everything in their power to prevent us from enjoying the same first amendment rights that they have. Perhaps the sound system snafu was no accident. Look no further than Cleveland, OH and the length the leftists went to stop the "Rally for America" there. We don't pull that kind of crap.
They want to speak and be heard, fine. They don't want our side to be heard.

Channel 2 - Shame on You Indeed.... but it got worse with Channel 2....
In their nightly salute to servicemen, the idiot lady newsreader pronounced "Ensign" as "In Sine"....
My God, how clueless can they possibly be?

I just heard Channel 2 report "over a thousand" people attended.
Yep. I caught that, but forgot to post it. So, channel 13 had to follow their report with a blurb about a week old commie protest and Channel 2 had to understate our attendance by 90%. That sounds about like them. Did 11 even do a piece on the rally? If they did, I missed it.

I don't know what the capacity of Jones Plaza is, but from about 11:40 until the end, you couldn't move. One freeper (Ron H.) was on the other side of the plaza. People filled the stairwells and the overflow spills onto the neighboring sidewalk and street. We out-numbering the 15 Feb anti-American crowd by at least 2.5:1, and we don't have unionized protestors.

All three of the stations did their piece about it roughly at the same time. I only saw Channel 2 and 13. I am going to trust Channel 26 in this manner (their cameras WERE THERE and they granted interviews).
Channel 11 is a CBS station. If they act like their network, almost don't want to see their footage.

I they try to "squelch" our freedom of speech, please let me know how.
I find them disgusting. But this is only the question of the hour. The question of the ages is that of the Bill of Rights.

This was indeed a wonderful day. It reminded me of many patriotic rallies I attended when I was a kid, on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and The Forth Of July. Events like today were routine. Bands playing, politicians speaking, and lots of flag waving. We also had marvelous parades right down Main Street. The only thing missing was the homemade ice cream

That's what I figured. Although we have 5 TV's, I could only see 2 at the same time and like you, I watched 2 and 13. Judging from what I saw, I can just imagine what the libs at 11 did.

A couple of recent examples. Sometimes they are blatant, sometimes they are subtle.
1. Edwin Johnston is claiming on the indy-media site that he was responsible for killing the micro-phone during the rally today. If what he says is true (don't necessarily take it at face value), that is one example of violating first amendment right.
2. Another recent example. During a recent Mecom fountain freep, a couple of anti-war demonstrators positioned themselves for the expressed purposes of blocking our signs. They even admit to it.
3. The Glenn Beck rally in Cleveland OH tomorrow has been plagued with complications due to interaction by leftists (I will leave specific names to be disclosed by Glenn Beck). They tried to stop that rally from being held.
4. At rallies and counter-demonstrations, sometimes the media will attempt to interview one of us; the liberals will attempt to disrupt our interview, usually by placing their faces or signs within inches of the camera.
Like I said, we don't pull that crap, but the left doesn't play by the same rules. If we tried such tactics, they would scream "first amendment, first amendment, first amendment". I also find them disgusting; all we ask is equal time, for the network to give both sides a fair chance; the liberals know if that happens, they lose.
Not trying to pick a fight with you, but we have seen the tactics of the left first-hand, and they are not respecting our first amendment rights in this cases.

I've been on the phone with some friends of mine that went. They could only reach the steps to the rally. Said that there were a lot of people standing outside of the pavilion as well.

I arrived just after 12:00. I never saw the stage. People were so packed in you could see nothing but the people, the signs and the flags all around. When they announced Queen Sheila and the booing started. I thought Chris Baker was making a joke. Then I realized that she was really there and boy, was I floored. Couldn't hardly hear a word she said because everyone around me was booing. It reminded me of the booing incidents at the Paul McCartney concert in NY after 9-11.
As the rally was nearing it's close, my husband and I decided to leave the crowd and we walked around the block because I wanted to see if I could get a feel for the size of the crowd. Just in time to see Queen Sheila mugging for the camera's as she made a hasty exit. What happened then was priceless. Someone yelled out that Sheila was leaving and the crowd (one woman in particular) rushed the queen "very verbally". There I was with a digital and a video camera around my neck and I didn't think to catch it on film.
Ron H, I know you saw this incident. Sorry I didn't tell you who I was when I asked you your screen name. Kind of shy. Loved your sign!
