The above story is the ONLY story that mentions infrared imaging, I think the author is wrong. Probably assumed that infrared was used while going down the laundry list of ways to search for Laci. Or got it confused with sonar imaging. Note that the article is dated prior to the latest search of Laci's home. No infrared was mentioned as being in use there.
So for some reason, infrared may not be something that can be used in this investigation.

saving the boat as a surprise for Christmas Day. Surprise for who?? Connor?? Laci didn't fish or go boating. This is so laughable. Yes it is. Can't he even see how flimsy his excuses and explanantions are ?

LOL.... Mr Mitchell, seems like he may be all there, but I am not sure on the Mrs... Pictures, they make you wonder and conjure up opinions... Hergus has and is doing a great job. That is time consuming keeping up a website.

Not sure.... I drove normal speed, held camara up, and just snapped one off... (I didn't know if it would come out, but it did.)
I believe I saw a nbc11.com news with it being re supported again, fixed.
SP's front lawn needs to be mowed. Grass is choppy looking as of yesterday.

Every map I've seen places the Mitchells closer to Bonita Circle than the La Sombra and Buena Vista location of the alleged sighting. Looks to be quite a distance. Early reports had the Mitchells living at the intersection of La Sombra/Buena Vista but according to these maps, they aren't even close.

I think at the Bonita Circle, the house numbers start out in the hundreds.... Gads, can't remember.... But taking left turn Santa Rosa, from Yosemite, you drive by Bonita, but continue to nearest the Park, (sp)Kewin Park. That intersection, if you cross back over to Buena Vista(heading back to Bonita), their house is about the 3rd one from the corner. A large, semi coloniel, or unique style homes. (I think La Sombra is where I hit that dip....)

Interesting find. I think the really telling person in this,"Mrs. Mitchell,Laci sighting" is, Mr. Mitchell. He seems to be "Ah, well,whatever the little lady says is true". I do not think, if it wasn't for Mrs. Mitchell's recollections, a week after the fact,and badgering Mr. Mitchell, how "they" had seen Laci and the dog, this whole thing would have been reported to LE. I think Mr. Mitchell is just humoring one of Mrs. Mitchell's whim's. Mr. Mitchell shows about as much conviction in this Laci sighting as any henpecked husband would.

I think at the Bonita Circle, the house numbers start out in the hundreds If you meant the one hundreds that's right, according to the Map , also. So the Mitchells do not live at the corner and were some distance (200 - 300 ft.?)from the alleged sighting. On which ever day it was.
