We just got home frome the Houston rally, it was GREAT! We got there at 12: & were able to get into the plaza but we couldn't see over the heads of the tall people because it was already full. There was a great crowd, I don't know how to estimate because as I said we couldn't see the entire crowd from where we stood. Heard some great speakers, Ezra Charles sang, lots of clapping, chanting USA & Cheering. We left early, about 1:40pm.
I want to be the first to announce that Shelia Jackson Lee showed up, surrounded by about 6 HPD & she spoke for about 5-10 min. She was soundly booed from her first words to her last. We left then because it couldn't get any better than that! Great Rally!

My husband just said he didn't think it was Ezra Charles that sang at the rally. Sorry if I made a mistake. It was sometimes hard to hear because people around us were yelling & cheering. Anyway it was great!

It was definitely Ezra Charles and the Works. We were in the front row. What an absolutely AWESOME rally. Great speakers and great patriotism. I'm curious how many people were actually there...there were ALOT! I was so proud.
I found it interesting that all of the media actually showed up.

I am anxious for Mon. so we can hear how many people they think were there. When we left about 1:30 there was a long line of people waiting to get in. The police would only let in people when others left. We walked all around the Plaza & there were people everywhere, listening, not even trying to get in. I didn't see any dimocrats protesting against the rally. I'd be intrested to hear if anyone did see any protestors. I saw a couple of boys wearing t-shirts that said something about Repukes, (thats what they call us on DU) but I lost sight of them. Didn't you love it when Queen Shelia was booed? lol

I made it home - I actually took 107 digital pictures and have been working on uploading them since I got home.
I figured I better take a break and say HELLO! This rally was fantastic!!! Was great to meet everyone too!
See you all in a bit... going to go work on these pictures. Hopefully, I'll be able to post a few here in a bit. :o)
