A couple (far from all) of my must-reads:

There is nothing like a good Long Cut Rant™. For quick wit, no one beats Chad Fairbanks, and Texasforever has provoked more than a couple of spit-takes, too. AmishDude falls in this category, as well.

Southflanknorthpawsis is my favorite Google-As-A-Tool-Of-Ridicule poster (and she's fearless, which I love).

You have to appreciate all the work SAMWolf puts in, educating us about military history.

Amelia is always thoughtful, fair, and to-the-point.

HairOfTheDog turned us on to the Viking Kittens and understands why This is Spinal Tap is funny - how could I not mention her?

Howlin's live threads are the best.

Other great people: Chancellor Palpatine, wimpycat, justshe, terilyn, MadIvan, oldvike (my token friend from The Dark Side™ : ) - well, it's just impossible to mention everyone I enjoy, but, I can at least list a few.

Note to everyone I mentioned: Don't even think about feeling like you have to reciprocate - that's not why I'm here, talking about you. Just wanted to call a little bit of attention to some of the coolest people on FR.

I'm sure I'll be along to amend my list as different people come to mind...

And here's another one I neglected to mention, CWOJackson - another of FreeRepublic's REAL MEN (some of whom were mentioned in my previous post). If he wasn't serving our country right now, we might see more of him - but I feel a little safer tonight, knowing he is on the case.

And there's Poohbah. Another real man.

PhiKapMom, rintense, ohioWfan, and Miss Marple are all on my list, too.
