As for my being in Alabama, you had might as well shut up about that. Just because I didn't personally know anyone who died in the towers doesn't mean it didn't touch me. And, it touches me that our military men and women are fighting for the freedom and safety of our nation and we have these pro-Saddamites over here tearing them down.

From Newsmax's Left Coast Report e-mail:
Danny Glover was one of the sorry sack of sobbers that financed a full-page ad in the New York Times, denigrating the war on terrorism.
Now Glover is attacking President Bush, claiming hes a racist.
Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reported on an interview Glover had with a Brazilian magazine.
Glovers claim of racism is based on the Texas death penalty. The actor said: As Texass governor, Bush led a penitentiary system that executed more people than all the other U.S. states together. And most of the people who died from [the] death penalty were Afro-Americans or Hispanics.
So Glover thinks Bush was cop, judge, jury and executioner, eh?
Glover wasnt done yet. He said that Bush promoted a conservative program, designed to eliminate everything Americans had accomplished so far in matters of race and equality.
The Left Coast Report points out, if Glovers statement were true, it would mean that the U.S. somehow repealed the Fourteenth Amendment and reinstituted slavery. Looks as if Danny Glover exaggerates more than a roomful of CNN public opinion pollsters.

This is to inform you that I have just changed my service from your Neighborhood program to AT&T local and long distance service. I was very happy with your service. However, your chosen spokesperson, Danny Glover, whom I have admired in the past for his acting ability has chosen to publicly discuss his political viewpoints, which I not only disagree with, but view as anti-American. I'm sure you did not choose him for his politics, but unfortunately, he made the choice to be a political activist. So now I choose not to support any company from which he profits from. This is the American way. You made your choice, he made his choice, and now I and thousands others, I presume, are making ours.
Sorry, when your chosen spokesman calls the Bush administration "an administration of murderers and a liars" (Big Lie, Mr. Glover!) - after 9-11 and while our best and brightest are on the eve of facing a monster in Iraq, and our President handles not only info from two detailed (and horrific) security briefings daily, but is forced to address members of a major US party still working to divide this country for partisan political purposes...seemingly clueless about the history and goals of our enemies...as well as facing 50 threats to his life weekly, as well as threats to his beloved wife, children, parents....because that's the enemy America faces...then No, I don't excuse Mr. Glover - OR you, MCI.
"NONE, repeat, NONE are asking Saddam to back off. "
You mean you checked every sign and asked everyone at the rally? Just because you didn't see anyone speaking out against Saddam or carrying anti-Saddam signs doesn't mean they actually support him. Besides which, the purpose of this protest was an anti-war rally... not an anti-saddam rally, or an anti-north korea rally, or an anti-fill in the blank with anything that Paul Atreides doesn't like rally. If you had ever been part of a protest (and I've been in lots, including one at the White House when Clinton was in office) you know you don't dilute your message.
Your issue is that you disagree with them strongly and nothing more. It has blinded you. Amazingly, you're even willing to convict these protesters of your own fantasies of them sabotaging the US military as justification for your hopes of their deaths.
If you think all the people who oppose the war support Saddam and hate America, and don't support our soldiers, then you probably don't know any of them.

Enough's enough! Our troops and our CIC watch FoxNews. For that reason alone, FoxNews needs to can MCI. Glover's presence is an insult.
