I don't wish death on anyone who disagrees with me. If so, I would be wishing death on a lot of people. However, what I have seen at those "peace" rallies are a bunch of worthless, evil, anti-American socialists. NONE, repeat, NONE are asking Saddam to back off. They hate our military. They would love nothing better to see this country destroyed. I have NO doubt in my mind that, if they were able to do it, they would sabotage our military even at the cost of life of our own military personnel.

As for my being in Alabama, you had might as well shut up about that. Just because I didn't personally know anyone who died in the towers doesn't mean it didn't touch me. And, it touches me that our military men and women are fighting for the freedom and safety of our nation and we have these pro-Saddamites over here tearing them down.

I sent MCI an email this morning about their spokesperson... received an immediate reply that Mr. Glover was free to voice his views. I sent a reply back, "Good, and I'm voicing mine. You will not get any of my business." Nothing else from them.....hmmmmmmmm.

I doubt that MCI would take the same view about using Rush or Ann Coulter as a spokesman. Celebrities are free to voice their views, provided they are the "correct" views.

I wish I subscribed to MCI so that I could have the sheer pleasure of canceling, and telling them why.

This is the response that I got the other day. Is yours the same? If so, it looks like they've had enough complaints to have to come up with a "form letter".

Thank you for contacting MCI ® e-Customer Service.

But please understand, Mr. Glover's personal views are his own and do not represent the views of MCI. Thank you for the link. We need to call FoxNews, too. Forget the leftist newsmedia, FoxNews is watched by our troops and our President - and for that reason alone, they shouldn't be putting a traitor on TV on the eve of war, imho.

From Newsmax's Left Coast Report e-mail:

 Left Hand-in-Glover

Danny Glover was one of the sorry sack of sobbers that financed a full-page ad in the New York Times, denigrating the war on terrorism.

Now Glover is attacking President Bush, claiming he’s a racist.

Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reported on an interview Glover had with a Brazilian magazine.

Glover’s claim of racism is based on the Texas death penalty. The actor said: “As Texas’s governor, Bush led a penitentiary system that executed more people than all the other U.S. states together. And most of the people who died from [the] death penalty were Afro-Americans or Hispanics.”

So Glover thinks Bush was cop, judge, jury and executioner, eh?

Glover wasn’t done yet. He said that Bush “promoted a conservative program, designed to eliminate everything Americans had accomplished so far in matters of race and equality.”

The Left Coast Report points out, if Glover’s statement were true, it would mean that the U.S. somehow repealed the Fourteenth Amendment and reinstituted slavery. Looks as if Danny Glover exaggerates more than a roomful of CNN public opinion pollsters.

The Left Coast Report is put together by James L. Hirsen and the staff of NewsMax.

I just did it for you. This is what I wrote via their website.

This is to inform you that I have just changed my service from your Neighborhood program to AT&T local and long distance service. I was very happy with your service. However, your chosen spokesperson, Danny Glover, whom I have admired in the past for his acting ability has chosen to publicly discuss his political viewpoints, which I not only disagree with, but view as anti-American. I'm sure you did not choose him for his politics, but unfortunately, he made the choice to be a political activist. So now I choose not to support any company from which he profits from. This is the American way. You made your choice, he made his choice, and now I and thousands others, I presume, are making ours.

These protestors are anti-Bush first. The communist party organized protests are simply their vehicle to protest Bush.

I just switched to AT&T and I asked them if they were getting alot of switchovers from MCI. In a very diplomatic way, I was told yes.

Dear MCI,

Sorry, when your chosen spokesman calls the Bush administration "an administration of murderers and a liars" (Big Lie, Mr. Glover!) - after 9-11 and while our best and brightest are on the eve of facing a monster in Iraq, and our President handles not only info from two detailed (and horrific) security briefings daily, but is forced to address members of a major US party still working to divide this country for partisan political purposes...seemingly clueless about the history and goals of our enemies...as well as facing 50 threats to his life weekly, as well as threats to his beloved wife, children, parents....because that's the enemy America faces...then No, I don't excuse Mr. Glover - OR you, MCI.

The amazing thing about Glover is that he speaks as though he is a mental deficient, or has a third grade education, or an I.Q. of 50, or all three. He formerly narrated a Civil War Series on Cable and his enunciation was a joke.

Next to him Jessie Jackson sounds brilliant - mainly because you can't understand a word he says.

Yeah yeah... 9/11 touched you all right. And now you can make comments about which other New Yorkers (people who actually had their lives affected by 9/11) and Americans would have been better off in the towers.

"NONE, repeat, NONE are asking Saddam to back off. "

You mean you checked every sign and asked everyone at the rally? Just because you didn't see anyone speaking out against Saddam or carrying anti-Saddam signs doesn't mean they actually support him. Besides which, the purpose of this protest was an anti-war rally... not an anti-saddam rally, or an anti-north korea rally, or an anti-fill in the blank with anything that Paul Atreides doesn't like rally. If you had ever been part of a protest (and I've been in lots, including one at the White House when Clinton was in office) you know you don't dilute your message.

Your issue is that you disagree with them strongly and nothing more. It has blinded you. Amazingly, you're even willing to convict these protesters of your own fantasies of them sabotaging the US military as justification for your hopes of their deaths.

If you think all the people who oppose the war support Saddam and hate America, and don't support our soldiers, then you probably don't know any of them.

O.K., ten days after Danny Glover, the spokesman for MCI, stood up in public and said, "“Our right to dissent . . . has been hijacked by this administration of liars and murderers," Mr. Glover is not only still MCI's spokesman, but is still all over FoxNews! Now from James Hirsen at Newsmax:

 Left Hand-in-Glover

Danny Glover was one of the sorry sack of sobbers that financed a full-page ad in the New York Times, denigrating the war on terrorism.

Now Glover is attacking President Bush, claiming he’s a racist.

So Glover thinks Bush was cop, judge, jury and executioner, eh?

The Left Coast Report is put together by James L. Hirsen and the staff of NewsMax.

Enough's enough! Our troops and our CIC watch FoxNews. For that reason alone, FoxNews needs to can MCI. Glover's presence is an insult.
