So Normy wants to use "direct action" to seize power? He needs to be tried for sedition at the very least.
The attempt to paint himself as patriotic and the current government as "fascist" is something that is emerging in the anti war camp.
They apparently want to coopt the patriotism theme and slew it to mean they are the only ones who can be patriotic, and anyone else is wrong.
I've been seeing this for about a month now in the articles I have read and the protesters I have to put up with flipping me off when I drill in DC. They draw comparisons to patriotic themes and holdout the ideal to the groups that the highest patriotic duty is to protest anything.
Norm will have to be dealt with before long, as will the rabid protest movement. They are picking up steam, and their aims are not innocent.

Chomsky's nefarious activities should be better exposed by the conservative press. We haven't done a good job explaining to Americans the evil influence he and his evil twin Zinn have had on great numbers of students, members of academia, and the entertainment morons. They have to be illuminated and their treacherous schemes countered.

I'd like to know how much this a-hole makes a year. Perhaps if we pressured MIT to drop this Millionaire Marxist he might just learn the meaning of "the will of the people".

Ah, my buddy Noam. If memory serves me correctly, this was Chomsky's take on Pol Pot's Cambodia:
1) It didn't happen, and
2) It was really Kissinger's fault.

Exactly. Guys like me had to go to Thailand with the military during those times and see the horror of it, while he denied it.

UT's the only place he can find an audience in Texas. Sad how liberal that town has become.

. . .and in the interest of 'fair and balanced' the University will soon host David Horowitz. . .right?
Sickening how The Leftist Lie is nutured and legitimized by the intellectually dishonest with the sole purpose of corrupting young minds. . .and with the help of our tax dollars yet.

"These students and concerned citizens engaged in debate with attendees, handed out literature authored by David Horowitz, President of the Center for the Study of Popular Culture, exposing Chomsky as anti-American, and waved American flags to show solidarity with the President."

His appearance sparked a protest by a number of UT student groups including Texans for Israel, Young Conservatives of Texas, Students for American Values, and the Texas Review Society-affiliated H.L. Mencken Society.I'm surprised. Considering the religion-hating Mencken's anti-Semitism and his status as an icon of "palaeos," I would have thought a group by that name would have been among Chomsky's biggest fans.
Considering his visceral hatred of religious people ("gaping primates who believe degraded nonsense") and his role in creating some of the stereotypes religious conservatives still fight against, I will never understand why this disgusting, abominable individual is considered a hero by any conservatives--except maybe anti-Semites and rationalists.

Chomsky has been the "peerless prophet/leader" of lefties for decades. Not only here but internationally. Apparently he is a real missionary kind of a socialist with the glint of fanaticism in his eyes. His defense of the Khmer Rouge should have alerted budding lefties to his mental instability. He's a droning, boring speaker, but his writings influence countless gullible young students and other skulls full of mush.
