These countries just keep giving us more reasons to boycott their inferior products and buy more American made quality products. There are plenty of American wines and beers for sure! I plan to get started right away discovering and enjoying them all!

Be careful boycotting car companies, some of them have been bought or are co-owned by American companies. I think Daimler is also Chrysler and Ford is also Jaguar for example. They are all mixed together now in the auto bus.

Peugeot

Renault

Citroen

Volkswagen: Only the Passat made in Germany. All others made in Mexico.

You know, maybe there is someone who owns or works in a supermarket or clothing store who can help with this. So far from all the treads, I can't find a SINGLE thing to boycott. I don't drink beer or wine and certainly can't afford a Beemer. Can anyone tell me any low end products that the stay-at-home mom can avoid??

One can add Waterman (French) and Pelikan (German) writing insturments. They are truly fine devices, especially their fountain pens but I shall buy no more until those nations change their outlook on America. Sadly, there is no American quality counterpart to these two firms but the Italians will fill the gap.

Remember that almost all Michelin tires sold in the US are made in South Carolina and Alabama. I hate the cheese-eating surrender monkeys as much as anyone, but you have to keep in mind how any boycott could affect hard-working Americans.

France's tire giant Michelin also owns the tire marks Uniroyal and BFGoodrich.

On the other hand, those who try to help our Italian ally by buying Pirelli tires will get quality tires, but will probably find they were made in Brazil.

Passat is made in Germany in Wurzburg. Check the VIN to see if it starts with the letter W (for Wurzburg.)
