I'll gladly do that right after you tell me who North Korea would be harming by possessing nuclear missiles. As long as NK hasn't used them to attack anybody, it's ok, isn't it? Same with chemical and biological weapons, right? Oh, and that nextdoor neighbor of yours who has that large tank of VX nerve gas on his front porch -- that's ok too, so long as he's not using it to committ a crime against somebody, right?
This woman has a long, long rap sheet. And, in spite of that, the court gave her a break and spared her from serving her whole sentence. All she was asked to do was to show at least some respect for society's laws. Not a lot of respect, just some. In exchange for her release from prison, she agreed to these very specific and simple terms of parole. She then demonstrated that she was unworthy of that consideration by violating her agreement not to drive (violations #1, 2, 3 -- at least) and by violating her agreement not to possess a firearm (violation #4 -- at least). Now she's paying the price for breaking her agreement with the court, as well as committing a fresh felony.
And all this woman can say is, "I still have no idea why I'm back in prison."
Ok, I'm finished. You may resume calling me a Nazi and condoning parole violation.
The terms are so simple. Notice that they don't specify that the gun must be loaded, that the gun must be in your possession for longer than a moment, that the gun must even be operable. Nope. You can't have it in your possession at all, not under any circumstances. So will you pleeeze give me a break!
Yes, this bill was recently introduced, and the text of it was posted here a few days ago. Can't remember the name of the congressman, though.
Project exile enforcement has become arbitary and unclear, resulting in an increasing number of proscutorial abuses. Law enforcement has also been involved in some of the abuses.
Project exile came to Cincy recently. At the same time I saw a newspaper add for a UZI. Never fired, still in box, $380. What is wrong with this picture ?
AAAAHHHHH....!!!
Banning 11+ round "Hi capacity" mags would be a cheap and easy back door way to effectively ban semi autos.
Like you said, that's when the 300 yard voting might begin.
DAYUM! I've seen people make some stretches here before, but I'm going to call Guiness about you! That's the damndest exaggeration I have ever seen in my life? You compare a woman handling unloaded handguns with a mad dictator with nukes? Or compare her with a handgun to a mad neighbor with a tank of nerve gas? You are not just a fool, you are their King!
Great comparison! North Korean nukes are JUST like a twit with unloaded guns in pictures!
You sir, are BRILLIANT!
And I am CERTAIN that now that the feds are on a total zero tolerance on law breakers binge, they will be taking buses to all the camps of illegals, living openly in flagrant violation of a dozen laws, directly under the noses of the same feds who are so busy with high-impact violators like this lady.
Their priorities betray their anti-freedom and anti-constitution agenda.
The issue at hand is parole violation. And if parole agreements are not to be enforced, then let convicted felons serve out their full sentences. Parole is intended to give these convicts a chance to show they can keep their word and respect the law.
And I am CERTAIN that now that the feds are on a total zero tolerance on law breakers bingeThey aren't yet....they are running "pilot programs" with the DEA and ATF. They're waiting for an excuse to branch out.

The link between sexual jealousy in the prosecutorial branch and severity of sentencing needs to be explored more fully.
And if North Korea had someone visiting them with a disarmed nuke sporting an empty warhead on their soil, who would they be harming? If you're going to make a comparison at least conform it to the facts.
