I guess it all depends on your definition of "supports".
To: Utah Girl
Shouldn't she give Estrada an extra 20 points just for being hispanic? And shouldn't those points count for more than the sum total of all his other achievements? Isn't that what the DemocRATs support at the UofM?
To: Utah Girl
You know, those Louisiana voters have some responsibility for this, in actually believing a Democrat would honor a campaign promise and cross Daschle and NOW. I mean, how stupid can you be?

It would appear that being a Democratic Senator implicitly means one has signed onto the mutual political suicide pact written and even now being executed by the Democratic leadership of the US Senate. Ms Landreu will soon rue the day; for now let us gleefully watch her twist and twist in the wind.....

Look at the word parsing. She "supported" Miguel Estrada. You see, that word is past tense. She doesn't say I "support" Estrada. She did support him in the past, but who knows if this support will last when it comes time for a vote.

¿Cómo Se Dice "Liar"?: just say Landrieu. . .
Repubs better make hay of this one; she does not deserve to get away with her 'slight of mouth' on this.
. . .best take is that Landrieu seems to be saying these folks were too stupid to 'get it'. . .and she should be challenged on this every time she goes public; and even when she doesn't.
. . .of course a 'non response' is usually considered an affirmative when you are politicking and paying for political ads yet.
Landrieu, like so many of her Democrat friends is a liar and as self-serving and dishonest as they get.
