I think this is a new one -- the one I've seen is a different version from www.conquerfrance.com

Norman Invasion of Britain - Won only because the Normans were really Vikings with French Accents.

1st time I ever saw it, this needs to be copied and appear in circles around the nation. I was at work on the phone and I couldn't stop laughing when I read this. I had to email this post for them to get it.
Something like this needs to be copied everywhere, great job.

Didn't the French also lose a war to Green Peace in the early 80's ?

The Gauls were first known to history a few hundred years BC, when they invaded Italy and sacked Rome when it was a small regional power. The Gauls took one town, got into the wine stores, drunk themselves silly, and were all slain when they passed out on the street.

And another, the appointment by Napolean II of the Austrian Ferdinand Maximillian as Emperor of Mexico, crowned in Mexico City on 10 June 1864. With all the military and political expertise of the French behind him, including the annihiliation of a French Foreign Legion patrol fortified in the quartel at Camerone, [where they were overrun, but never surrendered] Emperor Max hung on even after the French troops returned with their tails between their legs in March 1967, and two months later was taken prisoner by the Mexicans, was court-martialed, and was shot by a Mexican firing squad.
Even Austrians fare poorly when associated with French politico-military ventures, it seems.... But we can at least thank Max for the introduction of Austrian lager-style beers to Old Mexico, most notably that of the currently popular *Dos Equis XX brand.

where they were overrun, but never surrenderedSince at that time, most of the Foreign Legion were...um...foreigners, I'm not surprised. Had they been Frenchmen, they would have wet their pants.

President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld may be upset that the French are not "assisting" us in this fight, but out here at the tip of the spear, there is nothing but jubilation at their absence. We shouldn't be celebrating just yet; I still believe the Frogs will be jumping on our bandwagon at the last possible second, as is their annoying wont. They don't want to be cut out on any oil deals, nor do they want to excluded from taking at least partial credit for liberating the Iraqi populace. They are truly a despicable lot, the French.

There was however one Frenchman with a backbone. His name was Charles Martel. Without him, all of western Europe (minus England) would have been Muslim. Of course, both France and Germany seem to be supporting Islam puppet states and are under invasion from muslims today anyways.
