I am equally hurt by the ongoing attempts to depict all Muslim men as terrorists and to present most Muslim women (and Saudis in particular) as illiterate, ignorant, helpless creatures, the victims of humiliation, suppression and oppression at the hands of ruthless Muslim men, especially their fathers, brothers and their husbands.

Replace muslim with Christian and it sounds like the leftists in this country.

Good points by all really - If one harkens back to the dark ages of slavery, etc we see nowadays the things we feel were wrong and we have worked to fix them (by us I mean the western world in general). We have progressed by self criticism and inspection. Apparently they have no desire for progress. We point out to them the lessons we have learned and they, and for some reason the sick leftists in our country, seem to thing change is bad. Yet they continually try to change OUR beliefs. Hmmmm.

Hey lady. .. .you seem to think the big problem is the West's alleged misperceptions of Islam. I think the big problem is airplanes flying into our buildings flown by Islamic men, most of them Saudi. I think a future big problem is a suitcase nuke or dirty bomb going off in the middle of one of our cities planted by Islamic men.

The problem is you don't see the problem, lady. Where's your moral outrage at what your people have done in the name of Islam? Don't bother preaching to us about how much you love Jesus and respect all people. Tell us what you plan to do about the real problem that you have wraught upon the world.

I bet this is the point where you reveal your real heart and start screaming about alledged atrocities of the West against Islam. They are nothing more than the lies your government forces you to believe in order to mask the true cause of your sufferings: YOURSELVES!
