It took a lot longer to write this drivel than it would have taken to a: drag dead dog to the nearest dumpster and throw in, b: wash hands.

Is there no initiative in Kansas City? Are there no civic-minded folks?

KMBC reported that residents will continue to call animal control until the dog's body is picked up.

Are these people disabled? In any decent neighborhood a dad would go out and remove the poor thing. Look at the message this gives to the children in the neighborhood.

If they didn't give out so many food stamps they wouldn't have much problem with road kill laying around.

sometimes you have to wonder about city folk. Its not like the dead dog is gonna up and bite you. Remove the dang thing yourself. In rural missouri, there is always some sort of animal alongside the highways until something comes along and drags it off. Its sad when the great people living in cities must depend on some government employee to move an animal because they don't want to be close to something dead. What do they think a steak is?

I think maybe that is the problem, kids are sheltered from any sort of death. Seems as if there is a generation of people, or maybe it just has to do with them living in a city, that are scared of anything that doesn't have blood flowing through it.
