The last ping was at post #40. Please read forward.
STL, are you 100% SURE that the Lefties' permit includes the City Hall steps? In the past, I thought their permit only covered the Civic Center Plaza, not the areas surrounding/across the streets. Maybe someone can double-check that. Thanks.
comwatch and All, that'll be great if you can be there. Just remember, IMO, SAFETY FIRST! The police officers may be out there, but, we each are responsible for our own safety. And, some of the PFOI (Peace-full-of-it) "folks" aren't so "peaceful." So, just be aware of your surroundings.
Also, one of their tactics is to try to "engage in debate." Thus, taking you off YOUR focus. So, again, be aware.
Depending what the San Francisco weather is Sunday, a hat, sunglasses, sweater, coat, and/or umbrella may be appropriate. Bring a snack, water, etc. Combat boots?.....Just kidding! It should be "peaceful." Right?!.....Right?! Hopefully.

Be sure and call my show this coming weekend on KSFO and promote the Freep. When this comes down on the 16th be certain and call during the Freep. My show runs 1-4 PM Sats & Suns. Remember, if you can't make the Rally, you can still help mobilize by calling David at KSFO! Heck call all the on-air talent. Let's get the word out!
Also consider calling the good people at KFBK! KFBK link

For those of you coming from out of town, Bart is an excellent way to get to the city. Get off at Civic Center.

The peaceniks? Are you so gung-ho for war that you think war with Iraq is a good idea? Where is Iraq threatening us? An actual threat is coming from North Korea, not Iraq.
I just read that North Korea is going to deploy long-range missiles to Guam. If you're on the West Coast (as I am), this is a much more worrisome idea, than what Saddam is or is not doing in Iraq.

Good for you guys! It's important that those of us who support our president and our troops stand up and force the media to count us. I know that it's not typical behavior of conservatives to take it to the streets, but we have to. Otherwise the media will only show the communist-led-and-funded "anti-war" protesters, and give a false impression to viewers around the world.
Stay safe, and have some fun unmasking the communists and other leftists staging the "anti-war" protests. But watch out... they preach peace, but sometimes they don't practice it.

More updates on media outreach to get the word out about the 2/16 counter-protest:Thanks to Drango and others from the Bay Area Chapter, comwatch (Sacto Chapter) and Jim Robinson, I've been making some arrangements to get the word out. It's still a work in progress, so I'll do another post when I finalize all the details, but here's the gist of it...
I've offered to be interviewed by a reporter at the San Jose Mercury News who wants to get more info about FReeper rallies in N.Cali. Haven't heard back yet...
If all goes well, I will be doing an interview on Monday (2/10) night, somewhere between 8pm and 8:15, with Mark Williams on KFBK, 1530am.
I'm also in contact with comwatch about possibly calling the David Gold show (KSFO) this weekend....
Any of you that are interested in taking part or filling in for any of these interviews, just let me know. I was just the first person contacted, so I volunteered to do them. I don't have years of experience at this, but I think I'm capable. Doing so many interviews during our former counter-protests (as many of you have experienced), has made me feel like a veritable pro! But any and all suggestions are appreciated:)
More later...

No chili (that I know of), but there's clam chowder galore. Strictly for tourist though!

It's not just about the war with Iraq. It's about countering the anti-American, anti-Semitic, pro-terrorism, communist, Anarchist and other assorted freaks that fill the ranks at the so-called anti-war rallies.
Many of the peaceniks pay lip service to war with N. Korea (in comparison with Iraq), but they're just using it as a debating point. If we said, okay we're going to war with N. Korea now, they'd be out there marching against the war in a minute.
Having said that, I agree that N. Korea poses as big, if not a bigger, threat than Iraq, but doing them both at the same time is stretching our forces too thin. Not to mention their nukes and willingness to use them. I agree with President Bush that we must take different tactics in dealing with N. Korea. Of course, that goes out the window if they start attacking their neighbors...

Try calling David Again... he asked that Freepers call in right now. Also, from David website, we can chat See it at:
http://www.goldtalk.com/chat/goldchat.html
Freepers can listen Live at
http://ksfo.com/
Let's work on networking folks... I've invited the good folks in the DC Chapter to join ranks with us too. Live reports from DC next week and our giving there talk radio hosts live reports from out west is a force multiplyer.
