A "high court" injunction was needed to prevent Greenpeace from
boarding military vessels??
Seems to me that before the injunction, it was unclear as to whether this was permissible...

The police should take it out to sea and turn it into a reef. The greenpeace kooks should be able to accept that.

How about siezure of the ship to pay compensation for the loss of production of the armed services. They seize property for everything else, why not use it against this traitorous bunch!

Their objective had been to either gain control of the ship or attach lines to the tug which would then drag the Rainbow Warrior "to a place of safety". Somewhere along the 100-fathom curve sounds pretty safe to me.

when Iraq th' oilfields did attack:
Greenpeace? Not around;
Earth First? Was not found;
because they know Saddam will shoot back!
