If the Democratic Party in exile is ever to find a new voice and sense of purpose, it will first have to get around a peculiar obstacle left behind by the Clinton era: The man did not really go awayThis is the only really honest statement in the whole piece. All that the author follows it up with is pretty much shallow liberal digressions. Tepid statements, timidly tip-toeing up to the fact of the Hillary's run in 2004. They are undoubtedly trying to orchestrate some spectacular collapse in the popularity of GWB, and their efforts in 2002 were marked.

I can't wait for his book to
cum COME out!
Clintoon's book will be published by Alfred Knopf Publishing.
Knopf is 13th Century German for incredibly stupid buyer of other peoples garbage. Knopf is a very old publishing house best known for such early classics as
How to Enjoy The Inquisition by Father Torquemada
You Get My Point? by Vlad the Impaler
Guillotine Maintenance and Repair by Citizen Robespierre
JUST OFF THE PRESSES: Trent Lotts Guide to Effective Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Keeping YOUR Man Faithful and at Home by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Martha Stewarts Handbook for Profitable Investing (includes Marthas BONUS SELECTION: Prison on a Budget.)
Cumming soon to a dumpster or landfill near you!

The clintons are like systemic poisons which are impossible to flush out while the victim lives. The democrat party is doomed! Even the worm eating the carcass will die.

My prediction is that the Clintoon tome will be as big a seller as AlGore's last book.

his handsom face.... EEEEEEEEEEKKK, burfffff. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. A certain tribe in Africa considers duck billed people(their lips hediously deformed by wooden plates inserted in their lips)to be the ultimate beauty.

The ultimate objective, in this scenario, is to prepare the ground for Senator
Hillary Clinton's eventual run for the presidency (when Mr. Bill might return
to the White House as First Spouse). The 'ultimate' objective.
Just what we need, Bill Clinton back in the White House with even more time on his hands.

Unlike other past presidents, Clinton has been on the public feedbag his entire life. He has never earned a living in the marketplace, is basically rootless (no allegiance to Arkansas, except for the library he's building there). All he knows is flapping his gums. It has nothing to do with his age. It is all about his self-absorption. It's all about him. Always has been, always will be.

Did you see this?
"A central figure in financing the Clinton-friendly political ventures will be former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, now a top executive at Citigroup and the former bond trader who invented Clintonomics (which the Wall Street Journal calls Rubinomics). Rubin acts as a kind of gatekeeper, advising friends and colleagues from the financial sector on where to direct their political money, and which politicians and issues sound like apostasy. Both Clintons stay close to him."

I was just going to ping you! Rubin resurfaces! Time for some smack-down, in my opinion. They must think that Bush is going to let all their stuff slide. Au contraire.

I did not know that Tony Blair sat down with edwards last month to discuss foreign affairs. I wonder if all of our junior senators get to have private meetings with heads of other countries. (Of course, with the exception of the queen of the senate.) Just when I was getting a little respect for Tony.

Bill Clinton was a winner, a brilliant tactician and candidate with rare personal skills. Still, it is worth remembering that in both of his presidential victories Clinton polled less than 50 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, during his reign the Democratic Party lost majority control of both House and Senate, governorships and state legislatures. Something is profoundly amiss with modern Democrats and their connection to the electorate. Translation: "He may be a slime, but he's a winner, our winner. He gives us money & power."
"Only somehow or other we don't seem to be winning. What could it be? Do you suppose it might possibly bother the voters that he's a scumbag and a rapist? Nah. It couldn't be. After all, it doesn't bother me a bit"

I disagree. I found MUCH in this article to be an incisive analysis of the Democrats. I especially liked this summation:

Meanwhile, during his reign the Democratic Party lost majority control of both House and Senate, governorships and state legislatures.
