Six Republican Senators Turn Against Bush on ANWR

It's not enough oil to have any effect on prices. The oil companies arn't going to drill it fast enouph to have any effect on prices in the future. If they did it would last about a month.

It's not just about price. It's about self-sufficiency and the ability to keep the war machine moving should the foreign-taps be plugged. How DESPERATE do you think we would be if everyone agreed not to give us oil? Do you think we could conquer the land(s) fast enough to save our military and economy? It's a dangerous proposition not to guarantee our ability to be self-serving.
