Sharpton's candidacy will bring only one positive thing; in the future, any candidate for any elected office anywhere who is accused of being "unqualified" can point to Sharpton's ridiculous presidential run. If this utter derelict (has he ever even held a job?) can be considered qualified for the highest office in the land, then every adult citizen in this country is qualified to be president.

Yea, I for one have. Makes me think that Mr. Edwards, Esq. isn't the media's darlin in this horse race. Yet, between LIEberman, Gephardt and their fear of irritating Sharpton, I can't put my finger on who the chosen sacrifice will be.

The Democreeps will choose either Dean or Kerry. Sharpton is not very well loved and has a hell of alot of racial baggage, Lieberman has the personality of a pencil and changes his spots too much for the Democreeps liking and Edwards is a child who needs to be told to just sit down and shutup! Hart has too much baggage. I was listening to him on Fox the other day and he is extremely intelligent when he speaks but he is kinda creepy and I think that comes across on TV.

Mondale only won one state-Minnesota, and DC for a total of 13 electoral votes. Reagan won everything else.

You might be confused with George McGovern who won Massachusetts and DC, for a total of 17 electoral votes.

This isn't surprising. Remember that SC has a very high black population. A lot of them are poor, poorly-educated, and have been brought up in the afterglow of the civil rights movement of the '60s. They blindly follow "civil rights" leaders. They think the NAACP can do no wrong, even when their boycott *may* have run off a DaimlerChrysler plant and cost thousands of black jobs.

So it's not surprising that they'd follow Al. He's a "civil rights" leader, he hates Whitey, he says that Whitey has caused all their problems and if they can get Whitey to give them reparations everythang's gonna be all white...er, right.

I will be changing my voter registration to Democrat in 2004. My state does not have open primaries so you have to be registered in the party. I will vote for Al Sharpton in the Democraptic primary.

Imagine Al at least getting enough votes to land a prime-time national TV (all the liberal networks) speaking spot on Friday night at the Demomaniacs National Convention. Can it get any better?

I’m sending a couple bucks to his campaign, I’m voting for him, and I hope to plant a yard sign out by the road. Think of it … lapel buttons, tracts for windshields in the parking lot, posters, etc.. Heck, maybe I could be his county coordinator.

The dems crossed over BIG TIME in the last election to vote for McCain. The national media was here, stirring the "Bob Jones U." pot, and egging on the large retired military population to vote for McInsane. If it wasn't for a well-run Bush campaign, and the ability of the GOP base here to see through the fog, the race in '00 could have been McCain v. Gore.

Yeah, we are going to cross over...and punch the chad for Al Sharpton.
