yes, also those types of umbrellas are usually "rain protected" they have a sealer on the fabric that prevents them from getting damaged/ruined. On another thread there was a pic and a spec sheet of the typical outdoor umbrella. "rain protected" was one of the features. You just know that scott got the best umbrellas...

MissTuree, from websleuths requested that someone post this here.. (note: The lacipeterson.com website hass added the info to their website!)
Worldwide candlelight observance
LIGHT A CANDLE FOR LACI & CONNOR TO BRING THEM HOME
FRIDAY January 31 @ 10:00 pm Eastern Standard Time 9pm Central
8pm Mountain
7pm Pacific
Light a candle, say a prayer or think a positive thought for their return. This is a group consciousness effort to bring them home to their family. No particular faith if any is endorsed. Some will light candles to St. Jude, Holy Mary, a plain candle or just stop for one moment at the same time and send your positive thought or prayer into the world.

Any news on the PNW sighting? I sure wish they would find her alive!
To: Queen Jadis
How did he get her into deep enuf water with the umbrella bases on her to sink her, if he didn't have the boat yet?..did he go get the boat in the middle of the night, do the dirty deed, and then take the boat back?
Dumbass should have probably stolen the neighbors instead of taking a chance her body is found with the umbrella bases from their own house.
How was he going to pull off making replacement bases, were the original ones made of concrete too so no one in the family would notice?
I guess anyone that would sink her body in water and then use fishing as his alibi is not too bright.

And (2), Scott's "tears" seemed REALLY fake!it looked like he stole one from Ferris Buehler by licking his palms and then rubbing his face.

They're waiting for forensic tests (on suspected blood) found in the house, truck, boat and on clothing found in the laundry room. If forensic tests show what police think they will, they'll go back into the house with another search warrant. "They'll probe into walls, pull up tile and pull out sinks...They'll take that house apart."very interesting if they found that much suspected blood in several places, even on clothing. What was that quote by a LE source, "if the public knew what we knew they'd understand why we're searching that bay"....or something like that. If there are some mixtures of scott/laci blood like in the OJ case, I would convict him on that alone. Of course scott would come up with some excuse like....... me and laci were picking up some glass in the kitchen and we both got cut and she went to grab my hand and are blood may have mixed together somehow.
To: clouda
On the day Laci vanished, Scott says he went fishing and accidentally cut his hand. Reaching in the tool box of my truck and then into the pocket on the door. I cut open my knuckle and there's a blood stain on the door, he said. what what what? so he just leaves blood stains in his truck? This is simply amazing. Luminol must've detected a clean up job.

A police report was made when the clerk just lately heard of the case It is believable that the clerk at that time had not even heard about her missing. Not everyone is a freeper or up on this news. In some parts of the country, it's hardly covered at all & unless you watch the major news media on T.V. you might not know about it. And that was early on in this case, so it's understandable that the clerk may not have known about it.

No, not unless he was one fantastic looking guy! Laci doesn't seem that kind, but then again, only Laci knows now, and she took that with her...
