Well then you better inform the IRS that you're gonna stop paying taxes. Assuming that you do have a job. Oh and by the way, providing an army and having citizens pay their salary IS in the constitution as one of the "limited" powers of Federal Government. So by telling me not to "expect me to pay your salary" you really are letting your Hate America First agenda show through. It always does.

There was no "greenlight" given to Iraq by the U.S. to take over Kuwait. There was certainly no indication to Sadam that the U.S. may very well intervene on behalf of Kuwait if Iraq invaded them. If there was no "green light", then there was certainly no red or yellow light either.
But then I guess taking the time to actually find out the truth would take away from your time on the water pipe huh?
I have a clear head, but whatever you're ingesting (my guess is homemade "bug juice") has obviously put you in a stupor.

Ron Kovic (author, Born on the Fourth of July) ... You stood with these sc*mbags? Not just an author, but a U.S. combat veteran who was paralyzed in Vietnam. I wouldn't call him a "sc*mbag."

I've seen war C.B. I've stared it right in the face. Have you? Have you felt so motivated to do something for a cause that you beleived in that you WILLING volunteered to lay your life on the line for people you've never met in a country you've never seen? I have. No soldier EVER wants to go to war. But when called upon to do so we go. If there are vets out there that oppose war then so be it. That's their view. But I'm not gonna sit here and be lectured by some snot nosed couch potato dope smoker who knows nothing about what he's talking about.

Well then you better inform the IRS that you're gonna stop paying taxes. Most of the people who have so insisted on their God given liberty have had their money confiscated by brute force anyway. I'm sure you'd have no hesitation about shooting someone who refuses to pay your salary.

Nice at sarcasm but it didn't work. Nope, wouldn't shoot someone over something stupid like that. It's a wast of a good bullet. I've actually gone out and fought for a cause I believe in. And I'm about to again. Too bad the same can't be said for you.

Oh and by the way, providing an army and having citizens pay their salary IS in the constitution as one of the "limited" powers of Federal Government. That doesn't make it right. There's a lot of garbage in the U.S. Constitution that I would never agree to, including the welfare (state) clause, but I'm sure that socialism's just fine with you as long as you're on the receiving end.
So by telling me not to "expect me to pay your salary" you really are letting your Hate America First agenda show through.
I don't hate America, but unlike you, I just don't identify America with the federal government teet you suck from.

No, they are adding their America-loving/Constitution-loving voices to the antiwar effort, and thus attempting to "take back" the peace issue from the Stalinists.
One day an ant happened upon a heap of sugar. With all its efforts it lifted up a grain of sugar in its large mandibles, and declared, "I'll come back for all the rest next time!"

Wow! 12 Libertarians? A whole dozen?!
They comprised only half a baker's dozen, since their ideas are so half-baked. ;)

Question.... where were you and all your incredibly sincere ideals when Clinton initiated Operation Desert Fox 1998?? The fact that you weren't there protesting to the same or even HIGHER degree for that military action shows that you are either political posturing traitors or you are just an honestly caring group of folks that are being wagged by elected political posturing traitors.
Which is it?? And if you feel I'm wrong, EXPLAIN WHY YOU DIDN"T PROTEST IN 1998?????????????

I've actually gone out and fought for a cause I believe in. Something tells me you never got too close to harm's way. Something also tells me that you'd "fight" as a radio operator far behind the frontlines in any war as long as they paid your salary since you could never get a job in the private sector.

"That doesn't make it right."
You don't even believe in the core beliefs of Libertarianism. Part of which is holding the Federal Government to their strictly limited powers as set forth in the Constitution! And one of those limited powers is what I'm doing right now.
B"ut I'm sure that socialism's just fine with you as long as you're on the receiving end."
No Socialism is what YOU are cheering for. I support and defend the Democratic Republic that was established here in 1775 by our Founding Fathers and the Constitution.
"I don't hate America, but unlike you, I just don't identify America with the federal government teet you suck from."
You don't hate America, you DESPISE America. And talk to me about taking from the Gov't teat when you stop cashing your unemployment checks.

...where were you and all your incredibly sincere ideals when Clinton initiated Operation Desert Fox 1998? I was writing anti-Clinton songs and letters and showing up for numerous anti-Clinton protests. Don't make the ridiculous assumption that any libertarians acquiesced in any of the policies of Slick Willie.

I LIVED in harms way in the U.S. Embassy compound in Mogadishu, Somalia. I was shot at and returned fire on a daily basis during TWO tours of duty there. Only an oxygen thief like yourself who would never have the guts to even walk into a recruiters office would make such an assinine statement like that. I worked in civilian for two years before I quit my job and signed up to serve my country. I QUIT a job as the Program Director at the most successful top 40 radio station in the city where I live to return to active duty. What have you done for your country you gutless waste of space. You may be considered cool by those RedDeaiperDoperBabies you hang out with over on the DU. Here you're nothing more than unorganized pieces of pond scum.

Tell you what, ravinson. Tell me how much you figure that you've paid for military salaries and I'll reimburse you. My family will pay your share but you have to leave the country. Deal?

Thank you for offering to do that. Even though my job is to protect people like ravinson as well as the other 280 million people in this country. People like you, Jrabbit make it worth doing.

OOOPS-forgot to say that we get to choose the country that you relocate to. I'll of course get input from the military.
