Polacks got more stones than the frogs. A girls' volleyball team has more stones than the frogs.

Thanks, gridlock, for putting the whole Goldwater quotation in your tag line. Most people for get the second clause, and mis the powerful meaning of the whole statement.

Can anyone confirm that they did contact the real White House?
----
I just called that number given: 202-456-1111 . It was after hours, but a recording identified it as a White House comment line, assuring me that my opinion was important to President Bush and to please call back during the hours of 9 am to 5p EDT, just as the e-mail said.
My guess is that this is a "known", public White House comment line, but as not surprising, many are not aware of it. The Democrats are taking advantage of this, and e-mailing each other, behind the backs of conservatives, so to speak, to try to flood the White House with anti-war calls, making it appear, that more Americans are anti-war, than the true ratio.
If it were publicized on TV or public forums, conservatives could find out about it too.
If anyone has "connections" at Fox News, maybe Hannity and/or O'Reilly and some others could make this number really public, so everyone will know about it.
Maybe some of us should subscibe to some Democrat e-mail news and calls to action, under some yahoo mailing address, to find out what they are up to.
That is probably how the person posting it, found out.
"Forewarned is forearmed".
I bet Democrats are monitoring this forum closely too.

I think we should also call that number and express our support for President Bush and the war on Saddam, to counteract all the RAT calls. Ultimately they will be counting calls: for and against.
I remember, during the little Elian fiasco, the Dems did the same thing, they organized and called, and then it was reported that the majority of the American people are demanding that he be returned to his Father (Father Castro, that is).
These phone calls are important. And I'd hate to think of President Bush, when he is literally trying to save the nation, to be told by whoever tallied the numbers, that he got more anti-war calls, than support calls.
I will call and let others know and would suggest a grassroots conservative calling campaign as well, in self defense to counteract the anti-war traitors' calls.
The number is 202-456-1111.

I went to the WhiteHouse website and searched for "comment line" and sure enough it was there too.
