Hi Queen Jadis. I hope they arrest him before having to go to San Diego and tail him all the way. Apparently he drives himself to these things.

Snuggles is the bear the fundraising crew kidnapped and held for ransom, until we met our goal......now they refuse to release him.

On another forum, someone stated that the reason no one will call Scott the killer is because it would open them up to a lawsuit. OK. Peterson has to submit to discovery. He has to answer interogs, request for admissions, produce documents and submit himself to a deposition.

How far would his civil suit get after he refuses to submit to discovery by taking the Fifth Amendment?

If Scott were not guilty he would be calling a press conference of his own. But where is he? Still hiding behind mommy and daddy?

Laci's family not only lost a daughter and sister, they lost their little grandson/nephew, Connor. Never even got to see him, except perhaps on ultrasounds. Never got to hold him and tell him how much they love him. And to make the situation even more cruel, they now believe their son/brother-in-law killed his wife and unborn child, and won't tell them where she is so the family can give mother and son a dignified burial.

What's awful for society as a whole, is that whoever did this (and I believe it was Scott), can only be charged with Laci's murder. Connor doesn't really count in the eyes of the law.

Aparently it is worse than that. Whilst his father and extremely ill mother support him, Mr Peterson is playing golf, meeting with company big wigs, and contacting real estate agents so that he can sell his home.

(I guess it's ruined for him now. Too many bad memories.....)

What did Scott do? He is a fertilizer salesman for an obscure Spanish company that is barely on the internet. Their restaurant failed and Scott's career in fertilizer was also a dud. Modesto is an agricultural area. There must be tens of long established fertilizer companies with no room for a new comer.
The couple had financial problems.

Also could there be a racial angle? Laci's family is Hispanic/Mexican? and Scott's Anglo.

I think that Laci's family made such a desperate and heartfelt statement, and looked so alone and defeated, that the Modesto Cops are going to give them a little support. Who knows, tho. Later, sw

Scott Peterson hit the showers at his Country Club here in Modesto after shooting a respectable 9 over par 81. He would have shot a lower score if it hadn't been for the 15th where he drove it into the water.

Scott appeared nervouse as he approached the water hazard, tentatively poked his club around in the shallows for a second or two and declared it lost. Taking his two-club drop, Scott was sweating heavily and appeared very relieved as he moved away from the water.

That is true. I noticed in the news conference that the family mentioned Connor. He was and is real to them although I doubt the law in California recognizes him. Maybe it does. I don't know, but I hope so.

If abortion isn't murder, how could the death of a child in utero be murder even when the mom is murdered? Pure contradiction in the law, if it is so.

I work with a lady who's daughter works at the Funeral Home where David Harris' funeral was.

Clara was only allowed to go after everyone had left. She showed up with her attorney. Upon viewing her husband, she was reported to have said "That's not my husband. What happened to him?" The daughter said it was a very bizarre, sad encounter.

I bet that Scott is with Dad and his father is pretty upset.You can't forget that his own Mother is now hospitalized with hypertension. I won't be surprized if he turns himself in or has already confessed and been arrested. I don't think he's man enough to tough out a trial and I don't think he'll commit suicide.I think he is going to come to the realization that his parents can't make this go away. Everybody is hurt and many lives have been ruined. Just my gut feeling. I feel so down after seeing that family in torment and I bet that the nightmare maybe equally as great for the Peterson family.I have sons and a daughter I'm not sure which scenario would be worse.
