Well as usual I am glad to see the Libertarians have found a really important cause to champion.

Finally a little guerilla theater on the part of the libertarians. They're usually so serious about their political philosophy that they forget a sense of humor will get you further than unbending ernestness.
To: lesczynski
I like it.

Me too! Give the little squirts something to play with!

First they came for the toy guns, and I said nothing... ;o)
Seriously, though--this is just another inroad into trying to chip away at 2A rights. Not to mention parental rights... (should the government decide what toys your kids should play with?)

You probably think that your post #2 was a wonderfully sarcastic jibe.
In fact, it's refreshing that SOME political party stands up for America's children against the meddling socialists.
I've a suspicion you think that their actions are disrespectful of the People's Will.
Go Libertarians! Arm the Kids! Screw the Authorities!
;^)

You must have been raised with a different set of toys:

Bang

After the murder of a family member, I thought I'd join the anti-toy gun parents --- then my 2-year-old started playing with my comb as a gun! bang! bang! with a comb? Then there are the kindergarten kids who got suspended for using their fingers, bang bang! Imagination! Why fight it?
To: Stew Padasso
Okay, okay I deserved that...... I must have been light headed upon posting that one. Especially for a Texan who owns half a dozen real guns and not a single toy. Besides, if my son is stupid enough to pull a toy gun on a cop he deserves to be shot. Of course at two years old most of his toy guns will hardly look like Glocs, we don't plan on getting him those till at least age 8.

In party politics, I have no use for the Libertarian Party. Perhaps they've found their calling in politcal performance art. I REALLY like this move. Great political theatre!

I'm still trying to figure out just how I survived childhood! I remember playing with some very realistic looking toy guns. I had a little, M-14, along with camo outfit, done up with sergeant's stripes! And a little green beret! We played lawn darts! Around the 4th of July, we played with fireworks! Hell, we had bottle rocket fights, shooting the damn things at each other!

Well as usual I am glad to see the Libertarians have found a really important cause to champion. It's a very good idea, actually. I'll contribute.
