MOm didn't get calls - I got calls to the principal's office with notes home to Mom about my brother.

It was really bad when I was in 6th grade and he was in 4th.

He had same teacher I had and she and I never got along - so 2 years later she took it out on him.

I was a straight A student, my brother wasn't.

By October I knew what was going on but it took until December before the principal finally acknowledged that I had a legitimate point, and nearly February before anything was done about it.

Even at the age of 11 I was an activist!!!!!!

Because of Free Republic I learned how to make Beer Butt Chicken!!!

Yea, well Ive also learned some pretty colorful language too

Actually any liquid in a can will work along with the appropriate seasonings.

Apple juice with ginger and cinnamon is another good one

Pineapple or orange juice with ginger and soy sauce is another.

don't mind me - I love to cook and am always on the lookout for different ways of cooking the same old thing!!!

To be honest, I wish that weather report was for here - if I've got to deal with this bitter cold - at least let me have the snow that justifies it.

We have had very little snow and are worried about lack thereof. It has really just turned kind of cold and this is the mildest winter I remember.
