Sorry, again, but an uncredited "rumor" doesn't pass the test.
AGAIN: Rush and Marta married in 1994. They dated two years before that. There was, in essence, no "Internet" for them to meet on in 1992. At that time, access to the 'net was limited to the "elites" in academia, etc.
Did they ever email one another in those days? Maybe, but at that time IIRC Rush was doing Lexis/Nexis, etc.
This story is just bunk.

At least I back up my assertions with logic. All you can come up with is a 'net rumor. Ha.

Try not to be an idiot. This was a transcript from a radio show. Rush rambles, it's part of his charm.
If he had written this piece for an op-ed, it would have sounded like an op-ed.
Even off the cuff, it makes sense to me.

Your first name just has to be Thomas.
I've heard Rush tell this story more than once. And here is another bio for you. He met her on Compuserv in 1990.

Since when is "Compuserve" equal to "The Internet"?
Methinks someone hasn't ever played the "gossip" game as a youngster.

Sorry to get this thread of track a bit but has anyone else noticed that Ritter's partner William Pitt is a teacher? Are his students safe?

"Methinks someone hasn't ever played the "gossip" game as a youngster. "
Illbay, I was a Compuserve subscriber at one time. Compuserve was one of the earliest mass public gateways to the internet before there were the browsers we use today. It had email, messageboards, discussion groups and forums. If that ain't the internet, I don't know what is.
As a matter of fact Jim Robinson, and maybe even you, used a competitor of compuserve before this site.
Methinks Rush met his current wife on the internet. No gossip or rumor at all.

William Pitt is a teacher? Are his students safe?
They are now because Pitt knows Scott is finished! Pitt is too but he hasn't accepted that yet! All that work he did at the du promoting Scott and their book all for nothing!
Now that is a story itself.
Who isn't safe is the college girls that Ritter likes when he does his talks at colleges. I hope his wife doesn't have sex with him when he gets back from his girl chasing tours across America.

I'm beginning to think that Scott Ritter may just keep making TV appearances like nothing ever happened. No one asks Clinton about Broderick. No one asks Sharpton about Brawley. And no one will ask Ritter about his depradations.
While rank and file liberals may posess some vestiges of a moral code, the liberal elites certainly do not.
