I may be myopic, especially compared to this "big-picture" guy who thinks kissing up to a leech is sound business practice.

What a wonderful freeping opportunity on MLK day. How about some e-mail addresses and 1-800 numbers.

Well, I guess I'm too myopic to ever buy one of their lousy cars ever again.
To: aculeus
I was hoping no one was buying Daimler Chrysler stuff anyway - after all, it is a German company.

Nothing like insulting HALF of his potential buyers. If I had a Chrysler, I'd get rid of it and let them know why.

"Conservatives have been active in recent weeks defending the right of consumers to drive SUVs; working to open [the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge] to oil drilling; working to end the double-taxation of corporate profits and working for legal reform all positions that are good for America, but which happen to benefit DaimlerChrysler," said Amy Ridenour, president of the National Center for Public Policy Research. "DaimlerChrysler makes large contributions to organizations that oppose all of these positions. That sounds myopic to me.""Hey, Amy Ridenour, if you're lurking, tell them that you know of at least one conservative from a Chrysler family who just might take his business elsewhere, new Hemi engine or no...

Make that two.

A top DaimlerChrysler executive dismisses critics of Jesse Jackson as mere conservatives, who by definition are "myopic."An supporters of this lying, lecherous, race-baiting extortionist are what exactly?
To: aculeus
By the way, as it is the Hummer that the left has focused on as being the most evil car, I suggest that become the auto of preference for FreeRepublic.
Here is the new H2:

And very nice it is too.

Always thought their cars were flimsy. Looks like their excuses are, too.
To: aculeus
So the critics are myopic. . .figting words from Daimler-Chrysler. . .
. . .so scratch those plans for a new car from their assembly line. . .

Nice wheels Ivan, all shiny with cast aluminum wheels and stuff. Of course, I'll be waiting for the one equipped with certain other aftermarket items...

"From my fairly close knowledge of [Mr. Jackson´s] operations, they are one of integrity and beyond reproach," Mr. Fountain told Marc MoranoClinton Mafia-speak for "I'm being paid-off by Jesse Jackson's organization!"

The Germans make all policy decisons at Chrysler now. Any public statements from Chrysler, are public statements from the Germans. The Germans have never had a clear vision of right and wrong, what is moral or immoral, or treasured individual freedom. Attempts by former supporters of Hitler, Stalin, or the Japanese empire to discredit the integrity or moral standing of others, dont impress me.
