We understand that Channel 9 is planning to do a story showing a wrapup of the weekend protests and future plans of both groups. That was the purpose of this interview.

Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for being there this weekend. I was in Denver all weekend at a meeting and have just arrived home.
Please ping me to any details of further anti protests. I will be there when I can.

Good for you guys. As I was driving to BWI I heard WTOP (Am radio) covering the arrests of the anti-American protesters in Lafayette Park.
I had no idea you guys were out there again today. The DC Chapter rocks!
p.s. I'm home in Kentucky now. Great seeing y'all on Friday and Saturday.

Fred -- it was great to hug you again and I'm glad you made it home OK.
Yes, we were there today when the protesters were getting arrested. We had a good view from Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House.
Till the next time, FReep On!

This feature will probably be shown on the 11:00 p.m. News (that's what Dave told us); but it could be delayed because of the football playoff game on CBS, it could be shown tomorrow, or it could end up on the cutting room floor. Here's hoping.
Or, we could politely
CONTACT THEM, and express our desire to see the DC Chapter interview, from

Thanks to the hard work and perseverance of kristinn and other DC Chapter FReepers, Free Republic got a lot of PUBLICITY all over the nation this weekend. This was due to press releases, faxes and phone calls informing the media of our counterprotests of the bussed-in anti-american leftist scum which polluted the nations capital yesterday and today.

Fred, thanks for making the trip to DC. Your support and effort is most appreciated. We had fun today. We didn't have much contact with the commies today as they wee way across the park while we were in front of the White House.
kristinn talked with the pink ladies who are maintianing a daily vigil to protest the war. He thinks that in two weeks he'll win them over. What woman can resist his charm? Look for tgsl's post as a few of us had fun with the pink ladies.
Oh yeah we worked up another chant for these cold DC days. It goes, What do we want? Global warming! When do we want it? Now!

I'll be watching!

What do we want? Global warming! When do we want it? Now!Priceless.
It was a Global Warming Conference in Denver this weekend that kept me away from the Freep.
To: RonDog
Ron, with your permission, I'd like to copy your whole post and put it on the Freepathon thread.
