"How did you like Clinton's wars? Were they racist? Why are only Bush's wars unjust?" The silence was deafening - the few who did answer said they thought ALL wars were unjust. I replied: "That's funny, I didn't see you on CNN protesting then." A real show-stopper, I have to say.

This was the subject of the first ever sign I made to hold up against the peaceniks here in Ft. Collins, and was the one single reason that drove me to get off my duff and out on the street - i.e. the sheer hypocrisy of them all!

Here (as in the rest of the country, apparently) the 12 years of Reagan + Bush #1 went by with loud, well-publicized "anti-war" demonstrations against EVERY SINGLE military action no matter how great or small.

Then for 8 years of Clinton, there wasn't a peep!! Bombs over Serbia? No problem. Longterm stationing of US military in Bosnia? No problem. Chinese Embassy destroyed? Well heck, accidents do happen. Monica Missiles that destroyed a pharmaceuticals factory the day the DNA report came out? Hey, the timing was just a coincidence, and so what's the big deal about one little factory. Kosovo war -civilian train blown up because it started to cross a bridge that had had a smart bomb heading toward it at that moment? Well, accidents do happen. Haiti? Somalia Phase II? .......

These hypocrites could find NOTHING wrong with ANY Clinton military action, but screamed about EVERY Reagan + Bush #1 military action. Then 2001 arrives and no Dems in the White House any more, and our nation is viciously attacked causing far more deaths than Pearl Harbor, and GWB takes down the Taliban and what happens to the long dormant "anti-war movement"????

So my first sign said this:
