Did you hear that reporter? "Is this a return to Bakke if this is upheld?"I sure did. And I loved watching Bush ignore him like he wasn't even there. Did you hear the reporters mumbling their little conversations during the whole speech? These aren't even adults. Like fidgetty little kids, they can't even sit quietly through a 10-minute speech. Absolutely no respect for the President. Speaks volumes about their character.

I have watched for the past two years and I expected much more than from a Republican. Let me ask you this, do you think that GWB has done everything he can do to protect us from more terror attacks?

What is it impossible to debate a BushBot on any issue? You don't want a debate; you want everybody to agree with your opinion of Bush.

Not at all. The Bakke decison said race preferences could be used only in very narrowly tailored circumstances to redress past discriminatory policies.

I am afraid that I am unable to follow what you mean. Please explan furthur.

What's with ol' Pat....he must be pandering to his .02% base!
To: Dog
He did very well. He's the president of all the people, and is treating all equally. Very noble and brave .
He came right out and explained how affermative action is a racist policy based on race alone.
If it were the other way around, where whites got the additional 20 points for being white, imagine the outrage!
To: Karsus; Howlin
You're not debating any issue, silly. You're just griping......over and over and over again.
It's impossible to debate with all that whining you do.
And go back and read Howlin's post.
HE'S been saying it. YOU haven't been listening.

The common sense/principled strain of the GOP wins another battle.
The President's ear for advice gets better every day.
Hallelujah!

I think he's going to say what he's said all along: affirmative access.

he never said the words affirmative access
he said he is going to file a paper that the U of M ruling is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!
He did the right thing thanks to a grassroots movement of concerned Americans!

Let me ask you this, do you think that GWB has done everything he can do to protect us from more terror attacks? Have we had any since 9/11?
To: Howlin
Remember the poll from yesterday: 83 percent of this country believe that George W. Bush has the COURAGE to make the right decisions. And we know who the other 17 percent is.
I know! I know!
All the Democrats who are running for POTUS now compose 17% of the population.

I have watched for the past two years and I expected much more than from a Republican. You're in the minority then.
Let me ask you this, do you think that GWB has done everything he can do to protect us from more terror attacks?
Are you John Edwards? You're sure doing his work for him.

Next on MSNBC : Jesse Jackson responds to President Bush
Oh great! MSNBC is full of losers!
To: Howlin
No. I never call anyone names. EVERY. I only use the term bushbot if I have seen that poster use that term to refer to themselves.
I want to debate the following issues. Why wasn't their more of a tax cut? Where is the major tax reform? Where is the protection on our borders? Where are the spending cuts? Where is the action to get goverment out of our lives?
Care to debate those issues?

Not at all. The Bakke decison said race preferences could be used only in very narrowly tailored circumstances to redress past discriminatory policiesIt's allowing the U of M to get away with pure racism, isn't it? Sounds like hair-splitting to me, though I'd appreciate a more detailed explanation if I'm missing something.

The President's ear for advice gets better every day. Gee, maybe he did this because he thought it was the right thing to do. A new concept to you, I'm sure.
