""Once we get beyond nuclear weapons, there may be opportunities with the U.S., with private investors, with other countries to help North Korea in the energy area," Kelly said at a news conference in Seoul."

"Private investors". Any idea who they might be?

We will bookmark it, though, and see how it comes out. Perhaps it will be an outcome based on the combine predictions and insights of the both of us..... :-)

I'm right on board with you that the only way to deal with North Korea is the hard line. Anything else and they'll play us for saps. All I'm saying is that given Bush's M.O. of shifting the equilibrim to keep everyone off balance, the announcement should neither come as a suprise nor as a cause for concern.

Tension, slack, tension. He's done it to his opponents time and time again, without showing his hand. The dividends are paying off for him big, and I think it would be prudent (at this juncture) to give him the benefit of the doubt.

>Why do you guys think this is Bush's baby?

Um, maybe because he is the PRESIDENT?

Maybe, because as 'Public Servant #1' we expect these types of decisions to be made/controlled by him?

I think this Administration may well be proving itself to be a sham in violating its own principles it has stated time and again.

You can't violate something you don't have. The ONLY principles Ali Bubba-2 has is getting reelected, and keeping his family in political power. Gotta another Jorge Bush to be president yet, don'tchaknow?

I'd be willing to bet that Prescott Bush will be one of them.

To quote Ozzy Osborne

"Rule number f--king one, don't get in a fight with someone who can fight back, it spoils all the fun"
