My father would curse the TV every time Walter was on. The greatest lesson he taught me while growing up in the late 70's and early 80's was that the mainstream media was liberal whacko left to the core.
And his interpretation of the New York Times motto(All the news fit to print), states it perfectly(All the news fit to tint).
The pendulum swings right, the pendulum swings left. At this point in our nation the mood of the people is swinging to the right. It started with Bush, a refreshing change from eight years of Clinton sleaze, and was firmed up by the sobering events of 9/11. The liberals are going ballistic, they don't have a message (at least not a message anyone seems interested in) and for the time being are rudderless. They need new people in leadership roles (not contaminated by the Clinton era) and need a new venue that somehow resonates with middle America. I personally don't see this happening any time soon ... in spite of their allies that populate the leftist mainstream media.
Conservatism rules ...
