This path leads to one destination: "your" gun will have to be kept in a secure vault at police HQ, and you will need permission to take "your" gun out, and you will have to account for every bullet fired out of "your" gun.

Another click of the ratchet, clamping down ever tighter on what remains of our freedom.

Thanks for the ping.

The tyrannical bastards seem hell-bent on accelerating the coming clash between two sides that have "irreconcilable differences".

The attempted passage of these unconstitutional laws are nothing less than sedition against our legitimate system of government, and should be dealt with as such. They are attempting to overthrow the Bill of Rights and should face a jury of their peers for doing so.

Once these "laws" do pass, there is no moral or legal obligation whatsoever to comply with them. They have no more legitimate standing than the "laws" which attempted to force Rosa Parks to sit in the back of buses in Alabama. As such, it can be argued that there is not only the option, but the obligation to disobey, mock, and thwart them at each and every opportunity.

States like New Jersey, New York, and Kalifornia continue to pass these tyrannical laws at an alarming pace. The cancer is spreading to other states, and it is only a matter of time before these laws begin to be enacted on a federal level, causing us to move closer and closer to a "Lexington Green" event that has the potential to change everything, for the better or for the worse.

I believe these times are similar to the 1765-1775 period of colonial days.

I suggest that anyone who is capable should buy a book and learn how to repair thier own guns. Hell, it may just be easier to move to PA. To hell with NJ. PRNJ is one of the crappiest places to live on earth.

Remember the "Assault Rifle Ban' ?

Yeah...I think that about a dozen people surrendered their "assault" rifles to the stazi..I mean the state police. These dems have no idea of the sh#t storm they are asking for.

I agree with all of your points. The USA is moving in two directions at once, like tectonic plates grinding against one another. 32 states have passed CCW, but a half dozen of the biggest (CA, NY, IL, NJ etc) are getting crazy with the gun control. Sooner or later there is going to be a big sudden release of energy when those two plates crack and break loose down their length.

For a sneak preview of the kind of $#!+storm they are asking for with this stupidity, check out the sneak preview of my novel All Enemies Foreign And Domestic.

It's one vision of what tomorrow might bring if the polidiots continue down this road.

Right you are. A;so muzzle-loaders.

The problem with these laws are they designed by peopl who don't like guns, know nothing about guns, and what to know nothing about them except how to figure out new and ever more bizzarre ways to so harass legla gun owners that the Second Amendment will cease to have any meaning de facto.

Like our immigration laws, our Bill of Rights has been rendered meaningless by succeeding Presidential Administrations and federal courts which seek to ignore them.

You sir, are a patriot and a Real American. I look forward to purchasing and reading your novel and have added your web site to my favorites.

We have allowed the legacy of Adam Smith, Jefferson, Washington, Madison and John Adams to be surrendered to the discredited followers of Marx, Engles and Mohammad.

The clintons are Bolsheviks and their regaining the White House and both houses of Congres will totally destroy this country.

Never underestimate the guile, the patience, the perfidity or the persistence of the Perons of North America and the vicious anti-American fascists in the Holloywood community which support them with their endless supply of ill-gotten box office profits.

New Jersey has suffered a double-pronged attack.

A horde of affluent, left-wing liberal Democrats from the five pestiferous Democratic Boroughs of New York have swept the state. They have also swept Bucks County Pennsylvania, Vermont and Florida. There is an endless supply of them, spawning like rodents, and fleeing the political and economic anarchy they have created in that once Great City, bringing it to other parts of the Union, like the Bubonic plague on the backs of Medieval rats.

At the same time, the State has been flooded by illegal aliens who have not been absorbed into American culture, frequently speak little or no English, have no great use for, or love for America - beyond what they can extract and send back to their impoverished families in third world nations - and provide cheap fodder for the Demcoratic political machines there.

Immigration has always been the lifeblood of American and continues to be so today. Many, if not most, immigrants who come here legally come to make a better life for themselves and their families and put in long hard hours at jobs most Americans would never accept, hoping to gain for their children what prior generations of immigrnat obtained. Indeed, this is true of even many illegals.

But no Country can long survive which cannot control its borders, weed out felons, terrorists, anarchists and potential subversives, and regulate the flow of new arrivals to a level which can be effectively aborbed by the existing society. Both the Bush Administration and his successors have been abject failures at this since the Democrats revised the immigration laws several decades ago.

Once upon a time, this infection was contained to New York City, but the prolific reproductive nature of these creatures has caused them to spread to other states.

Even now, you can see problems begining to emerge from larger urban centers in states like california, Illinois, and Indiana, with similar political philosophies breeding in thier urban centers and spreading outwards.

The world of Norman Rockwell has become almost as far from present day America as the Egypt of the Pharoahs.

"I believe these times are similar to the 1765-1775 period of colonial days."

Excellent analogy. The only difference is in the number and quality of most of the Whigs, and the incredible persistence and affluence of the mass of the Tories.

America DEARLY needs a "Third Politicla Party" which represents America, Americans and American interests.

It also dearly needs a news media which presents the news from a factual basis, instead of the slanted garbage we get in most newspapers, CBS, NBC, and ABC.

I blieve the Internet is the answer to the latter problem.

Acoridng to this ferocious law, repair of even your own guns is illegal unless you get a ballistic finger print first.

That is the problem. Aside from bluing, most gun reparis can be learned without too much effort by the average person.
