I've been babysitting a 4 year old today, so haven't been here very much. Some things that I heard were confusing, but this clears much of it up.
Thanks to you both!
Iraq violated U.N. sanctions by importing parts for its missile programThen what are we waiting for?
I don't think it's his imports we're looking for--I think it's his exports. The whole UN inspection is just a sideshow to buy time while we ferret out the WMDs he's spread around the west via al-Qaeda and others.
I think we are slowly puting pressure on the axis of evil (and some unindicted co-conspirators) to force them to reveal their cards a little at a time so we don't get hit with them all at once. Just my opinion at the moment.
With all the deployments of the last couple of days, it doesn't appear to me that we are waiting for anything other than for them to arrive in theater and have a bit of time to get bedded down properly.
War--the most popular organized-group activity in human history. Or organized group-activity.
