Perhaps all the Muslims have an affinity for cats. We could ship all the cats from all the animal shelters to the middle east.
They would be so busy, they would forget terrorism.
But in the end, he neglected his beloved cats, and took up bashing the infidels.
Oh well, couldn't hurt to try it.

One by one, they seem to be dying. Coincidence?

"In 1992 he launched himself into the political fray with a series of radio broadcasts from Baghdad in which he supported the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and castigated the Saudis for letting in infidel troops."
Dead at fifty. Unwelcome, most places he has lived.

Idiotic, immature nutballs one & all.

Sorry to see this guy go. He was one of a kind.
I always had a soft spot in my heart for anyone who was willing to tick off the home owner association Nazis and the Beverly Hills gentry.

I watched the guy's house burn down when I was in high school. It was one of the nicest houses in the city when he bought it (owned by the Kroc family of McDonald's fame I believe), but al Fassi proceeded to paint in green, put on a copper roof (removing the red Spanish tiles), and erecting the most gaudy statues all over the front yard. Ugly as can be. Anyway, it turns out that a BH plastic surgeon - I forgot the guy's name - stole a bunch of art from al Fassi and then burned the place down.

Not only not mutually exclusive, but frequently occur in the same person.
For better or for worse, that's how it goes.

A rather benevolent obituary for a terrorist financier...I'd love to know if he had help meeting his god...

Hey Larry, we got a real live one here. .....a whole two and a half years after the fact. A relative, of course. Maybe he didn't like the fact that I was poking fun at Muhammed's redecorating taste (post #7).
