I think sep and awk are regular expressions that should be used often and anything else is just lazy.

Oh, I also think Bush2000 and all MS bit@#$! should die early and often. I'm on the Linux ping list and do occasional battle with Bush2000. I once got him so upset at me he insisted an entire thread be pulled! :) Thus all that MS propaganda was destroyed. My claim to fame!
