Neave and a team of researchers started with an Israeli skull dating back to the 1st century. They then used computer programs, clay, simulated skin and their knowledge about the Jewish people of the time to determine the shape of the face, and color of eyes and skin.

I've heard this quoted without the entirity of the verse also. Paul makes it clear after that statement that if a man be contentious or happy in his appearance with long(er) hair, "we have no such custom, neither the churches of God." First Corinthians Ch. 11 V. 16.
I don't think a blanket statement on size, weight, or hair length was accurate for those times no more so than they would be for today....

And what does them all being MALE have to do with anything? Is that to say that women are fallen further than men and thus have more difficulty finding salvation?
