"Its not exactly a secret that the Anthrax attacks from last year were a warning from Saddam."
Well, it has been kept secret from me. You must be closer to the inside info.
So if it is a fact that the anthrax came from Iraq, why wouldn't we have simply made that info public, instead of going through this whole UN inspection song and dance?
Give me some "hints" for why I should believe you have your facts, rumors, mistakes etc. properly grouped.

Wow....
I haven't been paying any attention to the 5 guys they are looking for, but I think I will now.
To: ewing
19 of these guys is just too many to know what they might be planning..This is the second reference I've seen to 19 guys. I've only heard of the 5 guys. Who are the other 14 guys? A new boy band, maybe?

Don't know where, don't know when, but (and I hope I'm wrong) it's just a matter of time.
The upside (how can there be an upside to the killing a bunch of folks) is that if these islamic scum actually DO this, two things will happen:
1. A huge number of liberal USA haters will wake up to the fact that we really ARE under attack, and start taking this seriously (kinda like waking the sleeping giant with 9/11 and then kicking him in the shins to make sure he's really awake).
2. The "it's all our fault" crowd will grow more vocal, making themselves easier to identify and target.
An additional side effect will be that muslims in Amercia will lose many of the freedoms they have come here to enjoy, and even suffer violence on themselves which, considering their silence concerning their islamic brothers' terrorism, will probably be well deserved.

If it isn't Halloween, it's another holiday.........don't shop, don't eat the food, don't drink the water, don't fly, don't don't don't don't.........
Since 9/11 every member of our family has flown, been to a football stadium, been to an outdoor event where 35,000 people congregated at a charity event, been to the mall, been to NYC, several times, including just a few days ago.......
Too bad you've all decided live isn't worth living........

Who are the other 14 guys? A new boy band, maybe?Yep. They're called the Sultans of Swing. 4-pc. rhythm section, three trumpets, two trombones, and five saxes.

OK, people, Al Quada is so severely disrupted that I don't think any of those nit-wits can plan or pull anything off. Besides, we've had these vague warnings before and it's nothing more than Al Quada speeewing out there anti-american sentiments. Let's face it, they're a nothing organization. All indications are that Osama Bin Laden is dead (otherwise he would have his big-headed face on TV any chance he gets) and a third of their leadership is sitting over at Gitmo basking in the sun.

What's it take to rent a UHaul truck, put some fertilizer and explosives in there? Granted that's not a 'big' attack, but it doesn't take more than 3 people to do it.
That's really the "beauty" of cells -- they can pull off their individual events w/o having a central command.

FWIW, I think GW is doing a great job. However, when I read articles like this I wish Rumsfeld was POTUS. I can just hear him say at a press conference "Really, they're planning a big attack. Wow. I hope not. I sure would hate to have to nuke Mecca and Medina." (I can just picture the look on Helen Thomas' face)

Maybe, I am a little slow catching on to things but I am starting to see a trend here. Holiday=elevated terror threat.
Has a holiday passed since 9.11 that has not had these yahoos come out with one type of warning or alert? I really hope they aren't paying these guys "the big money" Yeeeesh.

Theoretically, you are correct. However, this is easy to spot, and flag, if you are an intelligence official. To rent anything, you need ID. I don't think you would get very far with a UHAUL full of explosives, which is also easy to spot. It would have to be something very un-conventional, and in that case, it really wouldn't be anything spectacular at all.

Horrible thought - If the Niners get blown up tonight, do the G-men automatically advance to the divisional round? Just asking. ;) ) Do't worry about it-the G-Men are going all the way anyway. GO BIG BLUE.
