Anti-Semitism in Arab Media:
Cartoon from ADL website
Tishrin, Syria 12/18/02
The Jew in the Middle (with the star of David) represents "the father, the Zionist lobby". On the left, the US is carrying "terror" as one carries a baby in her womb.
Your first sample (above) is far from Anti-Semitic. In fact, it is very similar to what you may hear coming from the United States Administration and the whole world, after the war with Iraq is over. Building settlements, while pretending to negotiate, is a sneaky trick that the whole world has seen before.
As for Jewish settlements 85% of this population is merely living in suburbs of Israeli cities such as Jerusalem. Israel needs room for Jews and the West Bank is as good as any. Jews are not taking over the West Bank. This is a lie. There are one tenth the number of Jews compared to Muslims. Vast parts of the West Bank are Jew free if this makes you feel any better bud.
Further, I think it is instructive to others... the knee-jerk reaction some here have, when something they disagree with is posted on FR... the first reaction is to label it antisemitic and push the abuse button!
Some of the moderators may agree that the abuse of the abuse button, is abuse.

Last weeks Pali cartoon
The subject we are discussing is whether the above cartoon is antisemitic, not what you may have a good answer to... The reason the joke is a good one is, Yitzhak Shamir whinned when he lost, that he would have continued to negotiate while building settlements, for the next ten years if he was re-elected. Stupid comment but just typical...
As I said the subject is, just like the title. Even the original poster, Dennis has not defended the accusation that the first sample is antisemitic. Certainly you can do better and defend that, no?
It is unflatteringly true, but not antisemitic.
