I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at this. Angry and disappointed, yes, but not at all surprised...

Yup Lott can make a remark (with no evil intent) to a 100 year old man at a Birthday party and he is evil. Patty Murray can adore an enemy of the USA with praise and it is ignored. THE MAIN STREAM PRESS SHOWS IT's true MARXIST ideology!
To: DocFarmer
I've read that Patty Murray is quite dimwitted and uneducated and when informed about various issues brought forth in Congress, she doesn't have the intellectual capacity to understand them.
I've also always had the notion some liberal bimbo would become infatuated with UBL but I am aghast that it is Patty Murray! Murray is an atrocity and should resign immediately!
To: DocFarmer
I don't know if it was posted, but there is a petition going around asking Patty Murray to resign.
It's a petition, where your name, etc. is kept private, not out there for everyone to check.

I signed it.

I've read that Patty Murray is quite dimwitted and uneducated and when informed about various issues brought forth in Congress, she doesn't have the intellectual capacity to understand them.Several years ago, The Nation (IIRC) rated all the senators on their intelligence. They placed Murray last - the dimmest bulb in the Senate.

Apparently it's perfectly okay to ooze admiration for an international terrorist who killed thousands of our people.

All anti-American remarks by leftist water-carriers are glossed over or ignored by the press. Basically many of these scribblers agree with Murray's stupid statements and certainly don't want to be guilty of impeding or jeopardizing the career of a fellow-traveler. Just another reason why libs are stinking hypocrites.

Murray must have quite a cadre around her! I mean what kind of subhuman animal could ignore the 3000 precious lives lost in 911? BTW, unfortunately, I'm here in Spokane!
To: DocFarmer
But Matthew Felling, media director for the Center for Media and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., thinks Murray's remarks are not getting attention because they largely were correct. How do we know that's Lott's statements were not correct?
I am sure glad we have the NY times and the liberal media to determine what is the truth.

We just need to make sure that the Democrats are saddled with her comments wherever they go? Make sure someone asks your favorite Rat politician, "Do you agree with Sen Murray's comments regarding ....?"
I used to think she was the stupidest Senator, but then Cantwell got elected.

Even Cantwell isn't that stupid. What's wrong with Murray? Oh well you can see why her party won't bring her to heel - its like they feel no shame at trashing America.

Democrats can do no wrong in the eyes of the criminal liberal media

Murray is no different than McDermott. If you get West of the Cascades it must be something in the water.
Cantwell is pretty dumb. Her handling of her campaign's finances using her Real Network's holdings demonstrates that. I don't know if she would agree with Murray's comments, but she should be asked. The answer should be interesting if not entertaining.
As far as Murray, I have run into some folk from Western Washington like her. Cantwell at least voted for the use of force against Iraq. Murray did not. As far as arguing these 2 Senator's relative intelligence... well, that may be pointless.

"He said he was chagrined that [Murray] didn't know we were sending $3 billion a year to Egypt," recalled Carlson. -------
"So I was especially appalled by Washington Senator Patty Murray's comments regarding Osama bin Laden," Jacobsen wrote. "Her statements were a slap in the face to countless Peace Corps volunteers, U.S. Embassy employees, and specialists within the U.S. Agency for International Development who have dedicated their lives to a cause President John F. Kennedy called 'the long twilight struggle for freedom.'"
Isn't it interesting that the Senator gives no credit to America for these things, but praises bin Laden for things he hasn't done?

There's a few - see the
Country Store for a number of posts:

and there are some others including James Taranto's Best of the Web (at the WSJ) which hit it on Friday and Monday. As one WorldNetDaily article suggested, she may get saved by the holidays.
