Subjecting others to abherrent behavior is another matter whether dope is involved or not. I will support allowing dope as an aggravating factor in sentencing of anyone convicted of a crime while under the influence.

The portion of this article that makes sense is what I highlighted above. Lying to your children is not the preferred way to build familial trust. The use of drugs is a major issue in our society in this age since drugs degenerate the human brain in subtle ways and not so subtle ways and the open availability acts to corrode culture and families. There is a big difference in maintaining a myth and lying ... the Santa myth as opposed to the lie that cannibis doesn't alter the brain.
