Goody....another out of wedlock baby that tax dollars can help support.

Better the baby be dead than alive and in some miniscule way affecting your wallet, ay?

I place very little value on children born into these circumstances.

Why should you (or anyone else) decide the ``value'' of any person? Our constitution talks about inalienable, intrinsic rights, that not even the constitution itself has the authority to grant or take away. One we (or the courts, congress, or anyone else) start deciding who does and doesn't have rights, then we've seriously weakended any of our claims to rights. (not to mention the constitution) What happens when someone starts to ``place very little value'' on you, to use your phrase?

There WAS a happy face. Right there. Go back and check. Honest. It wasn't a really AWESOME happy face, but it was happy.

O.K.

I believe you.

I'm sure that the happy face existed...

in exactly which alternate reality, of course, is the pertinent question...

You have mastered color, though. Well done. Z is proud of you.

"I place very little value on children born into these circumstances. So to answer your question, yes, a safe, legal abortion should be encouraged to seventeen year-old, unwed, future welfare recipient Ebony. Society will benefit in the long run. So will Ebony."

YOU may not, place value on innocent infants, but God places great value on all life. I'll go with God on this one and deal with the problems. Welfare isn't the only alternative. BTW the young lady in the story is in clooege and marrying the father, i fshe got the abortion ahe probably drops out and becomes a burden to society.

My eyes saw them, yet I still can't believe them.

We have people at FR who actually have the temerity to post such things? Whoa...

Christ Jesus, please don't allow me to come across such in real life. I ask in Your Name. Amen.

Who the hell are you to arbitrarily assign value to any human life?

So to answer your question, yes, a safe, legal abortion should be encouraged to seventeen year-old, unwed, future welfare recipient Ebony. Society will benefit in the long run. So will Ebony.

Jawohl, Herr Goebbels. The Reich must be rid of "life unworthy of life", nicht wahr?

I pity you. May the love of the Infant Jesus and His Mother Mary pierce and convict your cold heart this Christmas.

So a mother has to see a shadow of her baby on the ultrasound before she understands that it is indeed a live baby? Maybe I'm a little dense....but I just don't get that. Women aren't that shallow...are they??

I don't believe this is true. Do you have any cites to back up your claim about Sanger.

I have some cites which show she was opposed to abortion. She was a eugenicist and a racist, but she was opposed to abortion. She called it a barbaric practice.

A lot of people are in denial about a lot of things. Mkaing it hard to be in denial about the value of conception-forward human life is a worthy focus of the pro-life movement.

Mr. Shear, you are such a wuss. Cute.

I am a Realist...I want to control the White House and both houses of congress for a LONG TIME...And I want A LOT of conservative judges confirmed...And then I want the people to speak AFTER we have changed thier hearts and minds. And I'm willing to wait for 50 years for this all to happen...Just like the liberals have waited for 50 years to get us where we are today.

I am not a single-minded "ALL OR NOTHING" screetching harpie who is more interested in craming their own views down others throats, thus scaring them away from conservative government and causes, and giving control of the government BACK TO the liberals.

And why all the pings? I don't know you or any of the people you pinged to your response to me. Are you such a **wuss** that you need to ping back-up or something? I saw an earlier comment in this tread where someone claimed many of the people with your opinion commonly play this ping game...So on second thought, change that "w" in "**wuss**" to a "p"...And tack a "y" on the end.

The American Baby Code

These headlines are taken directly from a large featured article written by Margaret Sanger in the American Weekly Magazine in 1934. This article outlines Planned Parenthood's plan to rid the world of "inferior" human groups

Article 1. The purpose of the American Baby Code should be to provide for a better distribution of babies. to assist couples who wish to prevent overproduction of offspring and thus to reduce the burden of charity and taxation for public relief and to protect society against the propagation and increase of the unfit.

Article 2. Birth control clinics shall be permitted to function as services of government health departments or under the support of charity, or as nonprofit, self-sustaining agencies subject to inspection and control by public authorities.

Article 3. A marriage license shall in itself give husband and wife only the right to a common household and not the right to parenthood.

Article 4. No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child, no man shall have the right to become a father, without a permit for parenthood.

Article 5. Permits for parenthood shall be issued by government authorities to married couples upon application, providing the parents are financially able to support the expected child, have the qualifications needed for proper rearing of the child, have no transmissible diseases, and on the woman's part no indication that maternity is likely to result in death or permanent injury to health.

Article 6. No permit for parenthood shall be valid for more than one birth.

Article 7. Every county shall be assisted administratively by the state in the effort to maintain a direct ratio between the county birth rate and its index of child welfare. When the county records show an unfavorable variation from this ratio the county shall be taxed by the State.... The revenues thus obtained shall be expended by the State within the given county in giving financial support to birth control....

Article 8. Feeble-minded persons, habitual congenital criminals, those afflicted with inheritable diseases, and others found biologically unfit should be sterilized or in cases of doubt should be isolated as to prevent the perpetuation of their afflictions by breeding.

My daughter has a "high risk" pregnancy so she has a level 2 sonogram done last week. Her husband could not go so I went with her.

With wonder and awe we looked at tiny feet and little hands that looked like they were clapping in joy ..We decided it looked like it daddy...both our hearts were warmed..

It is real, it is a baby and it belongs to our family...Thank you Jesus!

You are incorrect.

I could be concerning the "All or NOTHING" harpies and their overall affect on the populus, I suppose...I don't think I am though.

But one thing's for sure...I'm definately not wrong on the **wuss**, the "p" and the "y" part where you are concerned.
