It disgusts me that people who actually support law enforcement and airport screening as a mission, are thought to be un-American. Since when? Why is everyone who disagrees with how awful their treatment of this couple was an embarrassment to our constition and every war we ever fought? Aren't you being just a TAD dramatic? - Conservatives used to support law enforcement, you know. And I still do. Most of them try pretty hard, and have a tougher job than I do.

I'd bet you there is no audio on the tapes, if the tapes still exist, so they wouldn't tell the whole story. I would be interested in an eyewitness report, however.

There is only one place that I need my husband to prove his manhood, and believe me, it isn't the security checkpoint at the airport!I hope I don't sound hateful.
You make it sound like all you need him for is in bed.
I hope that is not what you meant.

I believe you expressly consent to the searches in order to get on an airplane. The citation you made pertains only to searches without consent.

Dang, I almost forgot...it isn't the "Bill of Rights" anymore, it's been the "Bill of Privileges" every since 1861.
My mistake, I keep thinking that were still under the Constitution.

I didn't say that at all, I just don't need him flexing his muscles or his lips for me when I can certainly take care of myself. I need him for a lot of reasons, but not to speak for me. And certainly not to make a mountain out of a molehill and cause himself to be arrested for being a hothead.

What is so offensive about having your shoes checked for explosives? There was a shoe-bomber, after all. There have been at least 2 shoe bombers, that being the only rational explanation for the the plane that went down over Rockaway beach.
Did you see what the one they caught looked like?
Guess what!!!!!!!
If the TSA goon was searching my shoes because he had just finished searching a 75 year old Jews shoes and I was next in line, and Richard Reid was 4 guys behind me, Richard Reid walks on to the plane.
Only the news of continued airline bankruptcys assuages my red hot disgust and rage over Herr Norman (I was interned) Minetta and his TSA SCAM.

Give them seats up front, with good meals (no drinks guys, sorry) and give them a gun. There are a few old Grannies that could do that. Don't have to be a man to pull a trigger.

How long we lived here, where we worked, how much we made, what time we left for work, have we ever been active duty, what language other than english did we speak, what we did at work, who else had access to the house during the day,how many cars we had. This started about a month ago with a phone call, out of area on the caller ID,would not give out any info on phone.I realy do not know what to think about this.Thay also asked about mortgages, what the house was worth,etc..Can any of this info I gave them be shared with any other agency? Just curious.

And I think you are being a bit overly dramatic to invoke the constitution and all those who died to defend it, over searches for weapons at airports.

Then don't fly. I prefer to give a little for the convenience. It's the same as deciding whether or not you are going to give personal information to a lender or the grocery store to get their discount card. There are a million different choices we all have to make, it's up to each of us individually which ones we are going to put up with. What would you have airlines do? Just throw open the doors and let anyone get on with anything?

Hmmmm, somehow I'm not believing that this story is including all the facts. Something went wrong and both sides contributed to an uneccessary escalation IMO.

You still don't get it. The rules are laid out before you buy the ticket. They tell you what to expect. By purchasing the ticket, you tell them you are willing to abide by the rules and consent to be searched and have your bags searched. Once you have consented, you have effectivley given up that right, eight?
