Vigilance is ever the watchword of liberty or something like that.

True. Sometimes I think it's planned this way.
Welfare reform was passed under Clinton. Nixon opened China. Reagan raised taxes.
Keeps us guessing.

Reagan raised taxes. Reagan cut taxes. It was Bush Sr. who raised them (after pledging not to).

On top of the spying business...just think what this will do to the cost of your monthly internet fee. No more internet for $10.00 a month. You can bet this will up the cost of doing business a whole lot. Every time the government gets involved in anything prices start rising.

CONRAIL!
Yeah, I know. This really suxorz.

You know how they do it. First they will make a list of reasons that sound more reasonable. That is how they sell it to the public. Once they have there spying system in place then they simply start requiring any kind of monitoring that you can think of. It is called incrementalism. You would think that we would be wise to that by now. God knows that we have lost so much of our liberty's via that trick.

Yeah, like our right to bear arms. And Freedom of speech. (Only the Libs hateful vitriol is protected.) and freedom of religion. Wonder what next. Oh, freedom of peaceful assembly and the rest....

Sorry. I meant Reagan raised taxes as governor of California.
Twice.

Far worse, no doubt. Faster to the finish line, debatable. Do you really think Algore and his fellow Dims could get away with proposing something like this without we conservatives putting up such a fight that pursuing it would be worth it for him/them politically? You have hit on it..the Dems NEVER could have done this..or compromised the Constitution as this White House has done..because no one trusts them......ahhh but a "nice " Texas Christian boy?? Whats not to trust?
The sheeple people are grazing while the the constitution and economy burn...perhaps the smoke will eventually awaken them..
