Al is simply putting on a good face. Just yesterday the Carville/Lanny Davis Democratic machine was calling on the Republicans to 'forgive' Lott and let him keep his job.
The Dems will regret the day they started this will Trent Lott.

You knew it was bound to happen: Sharpton trying to take credit for Lott's stepping down...
Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Sharpton added, "This proves we still know how to conduct a proper public Borking. Next up on the menu: that Frist guy. Just wait 'til you see what we do to him."

Yeah, it'll be funny as Hell to see them try and try and try and fail and fail and fail. The Dems are a bunch of nuts.

Al Sharptons political demise would be a bigger victory for civil rights. His race baiting white-hate mongering ways only hurt blacks in this country.

You're not taking this well at all, TLB.

BECAUSE OF GIRLY BOY REPUBLICANS Absolutely! I hope everyone enjoys GW's ride, because he won't be in office in 2004. Merry Christmas!!

Nancy 'Witch' Pelosi was trying to say that the Toon's statements forced Lott to resign.

Pubs will remain a minority party but that is ok, we are morally superior to those dems that kick our butt, every time we bend over.

Al Sharpton's paying the judgment against him for gratuitously destroying a man's reputation would be a strong victory for fairness.
To: Spiritus Gladius
Sharpton added, "This proves we still know how to conduct a proper public Borking. Next up on the menu: that Frist guy. Just wait 'til you see what we do to him." But the Dems used up all their ammunition on Lott. Reagan could have gotten nearly anybody nominated after Bork.

I hope everyone enjoys GW's ride, because he won't be in office in 2004. Merry Christmas!! But George Bush would be assured election if Trent Lott was Majority Leader?
Even Trent's mother wouldn't buy that!

Pubs will remain a minority party but that is ok, we are morally superior to those dems that kick our butt, every time we bend over. Who cares if we're morally superior if conservatives don't have the power to push their agenda forward? If conservatives would grow a spine and start playing the game like the democrats it might help. Instead, Lott bends over and takes it like a punk in the joint, while Bush sold him out for a pack of Lucky Strikes. These guys are so dumb they couldn't pour piss out of a boot if it had instructions on the heel!!
