Don't count on it. The supervisor who "promoted" him would not have done so if he wasn't protected by someone higher up the food chain. Gamal Abdel-Hafiz is probably Saudi intelligence. And the current administration is not inclined to ruffle the Saudi feathers, either. My guess is that this was actually the discrete removal of a Saudi agent.
