Well, now you know what we're up against. I have said for some time that Murray is truly one of the stupidest women to walk the face of the planet - I don't mean that simply out of political opposition, but because she is a genuine, mouth-breathing fool whose only salient political virtue is that she makes Republicans so mad they're incoherent - in the People's Republic of Puget Sound, that is all the banana necessary for the entire tribe of liberal chimps to hoot their approval.

The DNC hasn't caught on yet - she was one of the senior members of the planning committee for their recent electoral debacle. And so far not a single member of that gaggle of lost geese has paid a price for leading their party down the path to oblivion, and we have excellent hopes for a repeat performance in 2004. That's the good news. The bad news is that Murray is senior enough to have a prime teat on the DNC funding piggy and all the other advantages of an ill-deserved incumbency. Patty darling is one of those odious politicians with the odor and persistence of a pickled-egg fart, and she's going to be around for awhile.

Although Washington does have initiative and recall, there is some doubt that a U.S. Senator can actually be recalled.

Don't you think it's legitimate to wonder why Osama bin Laden has so much support in the world? How can we ever hope to defeat terrorism if we don't bother to understand it?
