Yeah, what you said! LOL! :) I know that I will piss off people for stating the obvious, but Lott has to go as Majority Leader. He is a lightning rod for carville & co. Just like Hillary is a lightning rod for most people who live outside of New York City and the DC beltway.
Let him have some non-social chairmanship where his followers on principle can watch him hours on end on C-Span 2.
Sheesh, some people on FR think there is a lynching of Lott going on, when the truth is Lott lynched himself, just like Hillary did in 94 with Hillarycare, IMO.

When Lott was being accused as a 'racist' I was angry at the Democrats. However, Lott has now ONCE AGAIN caved in to the Democrats on BET, and I've had enough caving in on the important issues by this man. He is NO leader. I've asked Kay Bailey to vote against him. Does anyone have an email address for Cornyn yet?

Haha...yeah.
By the way you didnt respond. You said we should be careful about letting former rats into FR.
Would you allow Trent Lott in?
~Grin~
Dont be bitter. And you can save the personal shots...they wont move me. When you're right...that tends to be the case.

What's that? I heard something from the "CUSTER CAUCUS", but I couldn't make it out.
TLBSHOW, *you* are the divide and concurrer if *ever* there was one.
*YOU* are deemed what you smear others you disagree with.
I say this to you because you might mean well, but friends don't let friends...ahh, never mind.

You know what I find funny? Crisis after crisis the Bush (rove) led republicans always seem to come out on top. Ill wait until everything is said in done after January to panic like our good buddy TLBSHOW. Until then, im going to support the republicans who want a new ML leader.
To: VaBthang4
You do now! LOL!

And I repeat...Yeah, what you said!!! LOL!!!!

(giggle) Well, don't grow weary in well doing. Politics isn't for the faint-hearted, but it's where we win or lose America. Fight the good fight with faith. This is *BIG* for the future and the time is NOW.

I am agreeing with your analysis. It emboldens the left across the board.I don't agree jwalsh, they've gained absolutely zero, as a matter of fact they've lost ground.
They know that Lott was a weak leader at the start. They expected republicans to act just like them and circle the wagons around Lott like they did with Clinton. We didn't. Instead, we waited for him to fix his own mess and he made it worse.
Do you really believe he went out on vacation without someone telling him he had a mess on his hands? His first "apology" wasn't exactly an apology. He was probably "counciled" on the proper thing to say but he "forgot".
The whole first week everyone, including the president, waited for him to pick up the ball and run with it. Had he done so, everyone would have been there defending him. He didn't. He made it worse and had to be publically rebuked before it even dawned on him that he had a problem.
Anyway, to make a long story short, we didn't stand beside him as more and more of his past was revealed. The democrats wanted more than anything for that to happen so they could have tarred us, and our policies, as racists. They lost on that count and they lost a weak leader of the republican caucus.

okay I got it.
The structure threw me off.

Stick with checkers though. LOL!Oh and next time....bring a dictionary.
Bite me!

You two, while having fun, I'm sure, were killing the thread. No offense to either of you (I couldn't keep up with it all), but we have a common enemy and you both fell for their divide and conquer strategy. To both of you, a very, very Merry Christmas. And God's speed.
To: Darling Lili
Yeah, right. That's why the democrats are all dying to keep him there. ;) Lanny Davis was defending him on H&C a little while ago.:-)
