There's nowhere for foreign investors to invest except China which, though nominally communist, is more welcoming of capitalism these days than any basketcase Third World republic.

If I were a white farmer there, I'd slash and burn my entire estate, ruin the ground with salt and whatever else would make it non-productive for decades and then hightail it out of there.
